We loved it here! Felt like time traveling a bit, while still having some newer amenities like adjustable bed, TV, nice big shower. The room was so cozy and I loved that we had a physical key for our room. Please never paint this place white!! The natural wood is so cozy and made us so happy! We will definitely be coming back here!

I can not speak highly enough about Monterey Inn! What a great place to stay and relax! Our room was so comfortable and big! Dual adjustable king size bed, heated towel rack & Bathroom, huge walk in shower! The owner was so wonderful and accommodating we truly felt at home! Only an hour away from snowshoe. The views on any drive you take are spectacular! Will definitely be back to the Monterey Inn!

This is one of the most quaint places I've stayed at. Building was built in early 1900's but has been refurbished inside with modern features but retains the old craftsman look and feel. Our room was larger than I expected. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The sink was smaller than expected but made sense actually. Extremely quiet. Monterey has very little activity. Still, it was a perfect place to stay because we were here to ride the Cass Scenic Railroad. The breakfast is definitely a highlight. Do order it when you make your reservations. The portions are large and every dish is wonderful.

This little Inn is amazing. Great staff. Great bed, fully adjustable including anti gravity setting. Very cool. Breakfast wasn’t available during my stay due to kitchen renovations. However, they did cover my breakfast at Claire’s bakery & cafe which was excellent. Everyone in this town was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this Inn.

The room was nice and clean. there were flies comming in upstairs but that is truely typical of a house of this age. The owner had asked us to pay a couple of taxes that were not listed in the price (not sure it is ethical/legal/moral) - they close by 9 or you have to pay a $50 late fee A fee - no food was availible unless you arange ahead of time. over all for a B&B style experience I was ok wth it.

Quaint & homey inn in a GORGEOUS area. Be forewarned that all the eateries in town close by 7PM.... I got a gas station pizza, which was surprisingly good, tho ;)

All good - only complaints are the beds are too stiff for sleeping, same with the pillows. Other than that everything was great. Staff very sweet and accommodating. Had to leave early though since I got sick, but would recommend this place to others.
