Beautifully appointed house with 5 en suite guest rooms, common front room and full kitchen. Never saw any staff, but received texts with explicit instructions for gaining access and checking out. Also received contact information for obtaining help with any problems. We had no problems. Great stay, reasonable cost. Particularly good coffee for brewing in room. TV had basic cable, but no internet connection for apps, etc.—but we weren’t there to watch tv.

Absolutely lovely and would definitely stay here again! The inn smelled lovely and fresh upon entering and is wonderfully furnished. Our room (Room 1) was really clean, smelled fresh, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable! We had the place to ourselves and only used the shared fridge to keep our drinks cool (each room has a basket in the fridge to keep your things separate). The “backyard” views and night sky were unbelievable! The inn is on a small gravel road right off of State Street, so you could walk for food/drinks/shopping if you wanted!

This was a wonderful place to stay! My room was very clean and comfortable. The communal kitchen and dining room were well-stocked and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

Great scenic area to relax in. I’ve been staying in alpine for years but the hotel prices are way too high. This place was appropriately priced and nice restaurants near by. Will stay again

Easy to get from the hotel to Fort Davis and McDonald Observatory. Room was super comfortable with big bath area. I loved having the common areas to sit or fix some food.

Beautiful mountain view in the backyard. Deer walked through at night. Easy access, great layout, and comfortable room. Only blip was Dish Network wouldn’t connect to any of the streaming apps, but just watched regular ol’ tv. Loved this place and will bring my family next time.

An amazing place! Our room was clean and spacious. They have a beautiful common lobby and kitchen where you can hangout and interact with other guests. The fridge had a basket for every room, so you can store your perishable food items, very convenient and thoughtful! And as the name suggests, there is a mountain right behind the property. We saw Aoudads, mule deer and a roadrunner. The road leading to the inn from the main street is a bit rough, but driving slow takes care of it. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay if you're visiting Fort Davis!

Room was cute and spacious. I like how it’s in a bigger home. We put our stuff in a shared fridge. Backyard was beautiful with views of the mountain. I highly recommend this place! My new go to when I visit!

This is a really cute spot! It’s at the base of some of the mountains. The road in is a little rough, so just go slow. The check in is automated but the staff communicates well thru email, text. The room is clean, spacious, and the open shared spaces are nice

This property is literally at the edge of a gorgeous mountain, surrounded by lovely birds and calm nature. You can't put a price on amenities like that! You could pay more to stay at the nearby historic Limpia Hotel (and that's where you will probably eat, since there are very few dining options in Fr. Davis), but in my opinion, even that would not be better. I will stay here again. Gracious hosts, clear communication: there's a good spirit to this clean, well-appointed small hotel.

Clean, comfortable room! Very quaint. In a great location! If you visit be sure to go to the museum around the corner, it was very cool. Will definitely stay here again!
