Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. Parking was 3 min away from hotel and u have to paid for that. If u have normal car it's ok, but if u have oversize it's a problem. Room was clean and comfortable.

Our stay was quite nice! This is a unique boutique hotel on the edge of the Nob Hill neighborhood. It's within walking distance of fun spots like Ace's Bar, and the complimentary breakfast was simple but a nice bonus. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite, which was a fun experience. The corner windows offered great city views. Just don't look too closely at some of the neighboring rooftops—they're a reminder you're still in the city. 😊 One thing future guests should know is that the hotel sits close to the Tenderloin. We never felt unsafe, but if you're walking around, it's worth being aware of your surroundings and avoiding wandering too far east, especially after dark. My only real complaint was the bathroom light. It's on a motion sensor, so whenever someone walked past our room in the hallway, the light would switch on, which was a little annoying while trying to sleep. There is also a balcony, but it felt a bit dated, so we didn't end up using it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, 1906 historic hotel in Nob Hill.

This is an older property, and I'd probably look for a larger room away from the street, but I picked the lowest-priced room: that's my responsibility. Aside from that, the service was excellent: the front desk was very helpful, the breakfast was well above expectations for someone who likes to eat lightly in the morning, and the Penaber Mediterranean Meze House was wonderful and a value. The room was worn but very clean. The bedding and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. I'm not someone who likes to stay in the room when I travel, so this was well-suited to my needs. The valet parking was perfect for my needs as well.

Établissement à taille humaine dans un bâtiment ancien, rénové et propre. Chambre, certes petite selon le standard américain mais propre et entretenue. Service et personnel souriant et serviable. Rapport qualité-prix très intéressant, avec petit déjeuner inclus. Seul bémol une salle de petit déjeuner exiguë et petit déjeuner sans trop de choix.

The staff is always nice to me when I stay. I always come with two young children and they have been more than accommodating. I’ve stayed there many times over the last two years before moving to Marin County and it’s always been one of my number one choices in SF. I consider it one of the cities hidden gems. There is a parking garage with valet parking one block up from the property on Pine St. They also have a gym which is rare for San Francisco hotels. The last two times we stayed there was free breakfast. Thank you Nob Hill Hotel!

This was my second time staying at this charming hotel. I love the character of the old/updated building. The staff is very nice and the hotel is centrally located allowing for easy travel to and from destinations. There is a small refrigerator in the room and Trader Joe's a block and a half away, along with a selection of small cafes within a block or two in all directions. I plan to stay here again, when I am back in the bay.

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was really helpful and price was reasonable enough that valet parking felt included. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. I wouldn't walk around the neighborhood at 2am, but room and hotel felt very safe. Several brunch places nearby. breakfast was basic but good. The breakfast had gluten free bread and the restaurant next door had several clearly marked gluten free options.

I love the early 1900 structure of the building. And the 60s retro mod that they did for updating the rooms. I felt like the hotel was in a good location whether you were doing fisherman’s wharf or the San Francisco Bridge or court tower. I would stay there again and probably will!
