We thoroughly enjoyed our time in traverse city, but the hotel was an absolute letdown. This place does not value the money, however we have had better days. The only perks are the prime location in the heart of traverse, free parking, and the view of Midtown and the view of West Bay from a tower room. Housekeeping is only available after the fourth night. If you require additional toilet paper or toiletries, please contact the front desk. The restaurant is open only on selected days. During the week we were here, the roof top bar was not open at all, which is disappointing because it offers a lovely view of the bay and the surrounding area. Rates differ in value, based on day and season, and can get up to four hundred dollars a night. It might be acceptable in Paris or New York in a firstrate hotel, but not in traverse city. The windows were so filthy that what we thought were frosted glass for privacy in the bathroom was actually years of dirt covering the windows.

We werent the group that rhymes with school nurses when we held our conference. Apparently, thats the norm in Karenworld and we werent the selfimportance or entitled group that demanded to be checked into their room at 8 in the morning. We were using the conferencebanquet hall for our training center and banquet at the park place at midday and made accommodations for a few of our attendees. Regardless, the rooms suited our requirements throughout our entire stay. First of all, tori was fantastic and very easy to work with with arranging all of the necessary amenities and rooming. Throughout our stay, she was a consummate professional and followed up with us. Any major problems encountered due to her meticulous attention to detail were mitigated by her meticulous attention to detail. Both denise and Katherin at the front desk were the most conciliating and willing to help our attendees throughout their visit. They were more than accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our needs were met, and that everything went smoothly and trouble free. As for the hotel itself, be aware that it is an older historical building refurbished with new facilities, and yes, some of the bathrooms are small, but they also know that physically, they cant make the space grow bigger. Otherwise, the rooms were comfortable and very suitable for our needs during our entire stay. For our conference in 2023, we would undoubtedly utilize the park location
