After a long day of travel, we arrived at the quality inn in Gilroy. At check in, the first person we met was the management staff, and he made sure we had the room we requested. The room was quite comfortable and looked recently renovated. It was immaculate. It also had a great spacious shower. The location was perfect for our needs, and our 6 night stay couldn't have been more comfortable.

Very spotless and very quiet! There are complaints about no elevator, umm. If 10 steps are a problem, perhaps more exercise is required? The employees are efficient and welcoming. Smoking rooms are available I agree with another review that stated they absolutely have the cleanest smoking rooms. There are no lingering odors whatsoever. The guests are courteous, and we saw no homeless people or encampments near the buildings. If we had, we would have provided them some food. Theyd be grateful, and kindness goes a long way. Speaking of food, the free breakfast here is a. Free i. Hot cold choices i. Did I mention free? Who complains about free food? This is a fantastic place to stay, with extremely comfortable bedding pillows, a flyscreen, a microwave, fridge, a coffee maker, a hairdryer, strong water pressure in the shower, and exceptionally clean rooms. Sorry, my rant, the bad reviews rubbed me the wrong way!.

Overall, the accommodations and facilities met my expectations. The bed was cozy, and the bedding was tidy. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. If you don't like overcooked microwaveable meals or bacon meat, the pre-bagged takeaway breakfast from Pandemicera was terrible. Or, better yet, there were apples at most. I could hear everything and hear numerous stomping above me because the walls were very thin. In part because of the homeless who lived directly behind the building, as a single traveler, I didn't feel particularly at ease staying here.
