The property was everything I expect at this pricepoint with few exceptions. The bed was heavilly stained with something. The pool was pretty scary, and the shower head was crusted with black mold. I cleaned the last one but literally its so easy and inexpensive to address these basic health concerns. 3.0/516 Jul 2024

Stay was lackluster. We booked due to distance to destination and cost. While it was one of the cheaper listings in the area, I didn’t think it would be that bad…it’s a motel. I get it. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz.
Upon entering the room, an inspection was done and pictures were taken. After my room was booked and paid for the hotel still charges a fee on arrival as a deposit. It was returned after checkout, but be advised. I wasn’t paying for any current disrepairs so photos were taken and the management was alerted.
The toilet ran constantly, which was less annoying to hear, more when you went to flush nothing would happen unless you jiggled the lever and it stopped.
There was a hair dryer, though if used it may have been a fire hazard since the cord was broken at the handle. I hope no one has since tried to plug it in.
Did not use the microwave, so unsure if that worked. An adjacent room occupant was trying to talk to the owner about his not working and was dismissed fairly quickly without resolve, but that wasn’t my issue so I can’t say my personal experience.
The mini fridge did keep bottled water cold. So that was fine.
There was however some strange stains on the linens, and the bedskirt may not have even been washed based on the strange crusty stains…
It was good enough to sleep in and no “critters” were noted.
The ac worked but I shudder to think about the air filter on that thing…
I also wonder when the carpet was properly vaccumed/dusted3.0/515 Jul 2024

Refrigerator did not work., so we tried to get ice. The ice machine was broken so we had to drive to get ice. The microwave did not work, went to the office and the person in the office was argumentative and combative and talking over me, very disrespectful. He should be FIRED!1.0/526 Jul 2024

Location looked very unsafe, in fact, ended up having to book a different location for the same night because it did not feel safe to stay there.
Tried to speak about issue with person / manager on site at the time, they were not receptive to claims and very difficult to communicate with. As a result, we basically paid for zero service and ended up paying a much higher premium (> 2x the charge) at another hotel in addition to the non-refundable payment to Rodeway.
No hotel that presents an unsafe environment for its potential customers should ever have an unrefundable/non cancellable charge. 1.0/514 Jul 2024

We were on a last minute trip to the area and booked here for two nights. The room was dirty, floor pieced together, and paint peeling from the walls. Window air conditioner packed with dust/dirt. We turned on the "jaccuzi tub" and watched soap and dirt come from the jets. The power went out from 11p-4a and no one was available to reach via the office or phone. No explanation given in the morning when we checked out. If there was another option in town, we would have left. The pictures are NOT what the rooms look like. 1.0/515 Jul 2022
