We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Vista. Upon first sight it looked like an older motel. However, when we opened that door it was like a home away from home. Everything was tidy and comfortable. The best part was the balcony with the Adirondack chairs and rockers. The view was simply beautiful. Pulling back your curtains from your bed and being able to watch the activity on the ocean, from your bed in the morning, was great! I also loved the fact that it was away from all the crowd of the rest of the island, but not too far from a couple of restaurants, and ice cream. It also has it's own entrance to the beach. The managers of the motel were very straightforward and helpful. I'd definitely love to return to this motel, we were pleased!

Room was amazing. Handicap accessible just as we asked for. Room was clean. Was a little nervous looking at the main building but we were attached the check in building not on the water with our own ramp. Wifi worked fast than mine at home. Staff was very friendly. Was able to check in early. Would only suggest a sign or something to direct people to the main office instead of them thinking our ramp was the office. Needs to be some kind of sign directing people. Felt safe even had a camera by our door. Plenty of parking.

We were fortunate enough to book the Honeymoon Suite. The view is spectacular and well worth the extra stairs. The room is clean and quiet. The only drawback was that there is no electric outlet in the bathroom. My wife is picky about where she stays so her telling me she would stay there again is enough for me!

Exactly what we expected from a place called the "Sea Vista Motel". The room was clean and well maintained and the folks in the office were friendly and helpful. The best part was that it is right on the beach. It is located on the quieter end of the island and there is not a lot of food options so plan accordingly.

This is our second time here at this 50's style hotel. We love that it's steps away from the beach and that it's pet friendly. Most people are respectful with their dogs too. It's not too close to town which means less traffic on this part of the beach, but for those that desire a smaller crowd and extremely friendly staff then this place is for you. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a high end rental home but there is something like taking a step back in time with the pastel colored rooms and simplicity that we appreciate. The view is great with all the units in the hotel having access to a covered sitting area. There are a few restaurants within a mile or so and we wished we had discovered the deli sooner; the beach shop grill is nice too. Both seem to have live music in the warmer months. I hope this review is helpful!

This vintage motel met all our expectations. Our room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. And the ocean view spectacular. Booked another stay. Thank you team Jonathan!

The North apartment was a great stay. The private deck was a cool addition to the apartment. The rooms are a nice size and the kitchen and living room were perfect for two couples and a dog. The kitchen had most things you could want for a short stay including a full size refrigerator with freezer. There is no beach view but it is just a short walk from the apartment over the dunes to the beach. There was a dog and human wash station in the parking lot. The price was the most reasonable I found on the island. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had an amazing time. Our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed walking down to the beach and walking along the shoreline. I love how this nostalgic hotel is situated roughly 50-100 yards from the beach and ocean AND is very Pet Friendly. The prices were good and I’m sure down the road I will rent at the Sea Vista Motel again. BGD
