This building is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in "Kate's Room" and the bits of history and decor were elegant and deliberate. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the house was quiet. We will, without a doubt, stay at the Shamokin BnB again if we find ourselves in Shamokin.

The B&B is very unique and beautiful. Historic charm and a sense of historic grandeur. The pistachio room is amazing - particularly the artful , spacious bathroom. Wow!! Lots of cool historic artifacts, pictures, and decor. It’s not sleek and modern- some cracks and window ac units, etc. but that’s part of the charm. We had a big family group that rented 4 rooms after a day at Knoebels. Seeing how each room had its own theme and decor was very cool. Breakfast is simply a coffee pod and a breakfast bar. But there are some nice cafes within walking distance. The woman (Shannon?) who manages the place is friendly and great! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The property was amazing ... a beautiful historical home full of charm. It was clean and the self check-in was flawless. Two things to consider: 1) on street parking required a few passes until we found a spot 2) the Bed was comfortable; the Breakfast did not meet expectations. But even knowing this, I would stay here again and recommend it.

Very well maintained. Lovely rooms. Very clean. Breakfast was mostly packaged items, but tasty. Bagels and English muffins. Our biggest concern was there were no smoke detectors and only one exit from the third floor. There are no elevators and my arthritic knee struggled with the climb to the third floor.

Beautiful room and great amenities. The tv didn't work because the roku was missing a usb plug. Otherwise perfect.

Beautiful room, so elegant. The bathroom was satisfactory. If the water got a little warmer it would be almost perfect.

I left before the breakfast time. Parking was on the street behind the property. If there had been multiple guests, parking would have been a problem. Quaint property, but no elevator and be prepared to drag luggage around the block.

Charming 1800's style building. With large windows. The floors are a bit noisy when walking on them. The light swit switches could be there viewable. None of the hall lights were on upon arrival, a suggestion would be dimmer switches and LED bulbs if cost of electric is an issue. There is no actual 'breakfast". the buffet serving cabinet has muffins breakfast bar and a Keurig machine for coffee with mini creamer.

Room and building were nice and the space was clean. The bed however needs to be replaced - it was so soft that it was like a prank. Maybe some people like this, but I could feel a huge indentation from previous guests, like the whole mattress was caving in around me. Could not sleep AT ALL, think I got a total of 4 hours and was a wreck the whole next day. I'm 6'4" and 190lbs if that means anything. Would not stay here again.
