We love this hotel. The rooms are always clean and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. This is not The Ritz. It is, however, a very comfortable place to stay, close to restaurants, and in a quiet neighborhood. And they have S'mores! We've stayed there a number of times and it's always been exactly what we needed. I love the bonfire area and the lawn and the hammocks. Lovely. The hotel looks like it came right out of the 1950's but the rooms are modern and renovated.

I love the retro look and appeal of the Stardust. Very clean, grounds are well maintained, and they even show movies on the grass outdoors!!!

This hotel is a gem! Very clean, retro rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and effective air conditioning. ALL staff are friendly and accommodating. They offer towels for cleaning your bikes, shoes and pets as well as access to a hose. They have nightly campfires with complimentary snores kits. Additionally there are two hammocks, a gas fire place and multiple lawn games. The hotel is walking distance to many activities including a shuttle for the route of the Hiawatha.

The renovations recently completed totally refurbished the look and feel of a very nice motel. The new beds and bedding were incredibly luxurious!

A motel where the guests are cared about. Little extras around every corner. We showed up on movie night, a nice surprise. Movie treats in room. Out of 6 different inns/hotels/motels on trip, easily family favorite. Really enjoyed hammock and lawn games in the morning. Not for everyone, but an excellent throwback, in a historical town.

The Star Dust has a fun retro vibe and has thought of the perfect details for guests like chapstick and ear plugs. They have nightly camp fires and even give you stuff to make snores. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Another plus is they have a bike repair station with tools and a pump easily acessible. You will love it here.

The evenings were awesome. Wednesday was fire pit night, with s'mores makings and Thursday was outdoor movie night. The bed was comfy. And the room was very clean. Stardust is known to have the cleanest rooms in town. Sooo worth the cost.

I think you can improve on street appeal in the office parking lot. The dark colors do not really work. Maybe pink or white on the office window sills. Maybe some pastel accents. The office was hard to locate when the open sign is not turned on. The check in time at 4 pm is ruff was we arrived from our house in Spokane about 9 am. After walking the entire we noticed the town was pretty much closed until noon and the added bonus was Wednesday was a good day for most businesses to be closed. Once we check-in, I noticed there was this little book on the counter about the town and inside there was a map of the entire town would have been handy at 9 am. That map would be handy if you could include in one of your many emails to us. About the Town Welcoming Guests-Friendly would be nice. The town needs to figure out the go to place for information since hardly no is one seems to be open by 9 am. If if is a visitor center let everyone know this a head of time in the itinerary regarding the hotel room. Other option is to say most businesses town do not open until 11 am or just say many are closed on Sunday. The restaurant meals served menu is nice to have because not all of the serve 3 meals a day. In our 1 day stay we ate 2 out of 4 meals in Kellogg, ID. It is a nice little town but the businesses need to work together to make sure they can maximize the cash flow into the city from tourists.

My daughter and I really enjoyed the lawn games and the free little pack to make s'mores by the fire. We got to meet new people and share stories. It was a small room, but very cute and clean. The area also felt very safe and was an easy drive to the waterpark.

Friendly. Enjoyed talking with other guests about our biking Hiawatha experiences. We also love roasting our marshmallows at the fire pit.

I don't even know how many summers in a row we've stayed in Wallace, but the Stardust is always one of the highlights of our trip. The property is consistently clean, well cared for, and incredibly family-friendly. It's become a tradition for us, and we always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay!

Classic old world charm meets modern amenities. This was a fantastic stay, my only regret was that I didn't plan more evenings at the motel to enjoy the town and surrounding area. Smores, campfire, and the hammocks out front were a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend staying here!

This is a totally cute vintage motel that has been nicely maintained and updated. The staff was friendly and the town is adorable. S'mores night was a very nice touch!

The place doesn't look like much, but looks can be deceiving. The reality is the room was elegant, very clean and all you could ask for. They had fire pits and free s'mores packs. ( First one free $5. For others, well worth it..they had chairs outside the rooms and hammocks strung from trees. We enjoyed our stay very much

This place is awesome! We had a great experience from the moment we checked in. We loved the vibe of the retro rooms, and the staff was so friendly. When we checked in, we got a free S'mores kit for the fire pit. They had yard games, hammocks, and outdoor seating. We were able to meet many people and enjoy the outdoors. It was close to everything, too, so we could walk to coffee, breakfast, dinner, etc.
