The personnel was friendly. The room was clean and had a mini fridge. The location is ideal because you are only a block or two from the beach. And the water taxi is only around the corner. I read all the reviews before making the reservation and took a gamble given the location. It was a very nice, peaceful stay. Because we took a left to the hotel, we were able to walk everywhere. But parking didn't seem to be an issue. Parking is expensive around town. One day take the water taxi, it's super fun! It took us to Hollywood Margaritaville. We will stay here again.

Wed return to this hotel. I read all the reviews before making the reservation and took a gamble because of the location. It was a pleasant and peaceful stay. We didn't have a car because we could walk everywhere after turning left to the hotel. However, parking did not seem to be an issue. Parking is expensive in town. Take the water taxi one day, it's so fun! It took us to Hollywood Margaritaville.

Previously, we only stayed at one hotel. We had intended to travel to Fort Lauderdale this weekend, so we chose the drift because we wanted to plan a low-cost vacation. One block away from the aka.. This little place has newly renovated rooms that are charming and adorable. When we first arrived at the hotel, we were astonished by how spacious the room was. But, because the walls are so thin, the people next to us had a party until 34 am. There were many people still sleeping on the patio chairs the next morning. There are boogie boards, towels, and chairs that you can bring to the beach. Breakfast is not served. The beaches are not far enough away from the hotels to be found on foot. We basically used our car to get to the hotel and we didn't touch it until we were gone. Because you can walk to all the attractions, I might suggest an uber from the airport. We'll come back.

I will not return and do not recommend it. Everything you've read, no parking, mildew odor, bad room, outdated, terrible mattress, pillows, if that's what you want to call them. All true. The only thing I can say is that the receptionist was very nice. Yes, the office is closed on weekends, but this isn't a full-service hotel, so there is really nothing to do in the office unless there's a real problem. If you don't care about sleeping comfortably and just need a place to crash, then this is the place to be. That's if you have parking and don't have extra money to spend on the $40 per day parking lot across the street. Also, the construction next door is loud and well, there are a few shady characters inside and outside of this place. That's already been stated in other evaluations. The positive is that it's very close to the beach for the price. I would rather spend more for a more comfortable mattress.

I'll come back to you. This weekend, we set out to see Fort Lauderdale. We decided to go on a budget route because we wanted to plan a travel. About a block away from the aka.. This is a cute, adorable little place with thoroughly modern rooms. In actuality, we were extremely overwhelmed by how wonderful the chamber was. The employees next to us partied until 34 a.m. because the walls are so thin. There were a few people laying on patio chairs in the patio area the following morning. There are boogie boards, towels, and chairs available from this motel. Breakfast is not served. However, coffee was served. All of the attractions on the shoreline are close enough to walk from you. We essentially rented a car from the airport to the hotel and never touched it until we were back. Because you can stroll all of the locations, I would suggest using an uber from the airport.

If you don't care about sleeping comfortably and just need a place to crash.. This is your spot. All I've read, no parking, mildew odor, room not as described, old, horrible mattress, pillows, if you want to call them. All true. The only thing I can say is that the front desk lady was very nice. Yes, the office is closed on weekends, but this is not a full service hotel, so nothing is required in the office unless there is really a real issue. The advantage is that for the price, it's very close to the beach. I'd rather spend more for a more comfy mattress. I'll stay here again and wouldn't suggest it.
