The hotel is an historic property, and is beautifully maintained. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. Parking is included.

Only 2 minor issues in an otherwise wonderful experience. First, did not appear to have wifi access. Perhaps I missed something during checkout or in the room, but my computer didn't pick up any hotel-based wifi but I was able to gain public access from a nearby business. Second, the shower, while quite nice, didn't have much in the way of temperature adjustment. It was scorching hot and any adjustment down to cool a little bit didn't work. But, I have to reiterate, it was a wonderful experience and a special place.

A treat to stay in the only remaining Frank Lloyd wright designed hotel. The staff and area in general focus on having it in mason city. Staff is very friendly. The historic tour(extra charge) was very interesting and well done. If you don’t take the tour, stop in the gift shop where the clerk appears to like sharing information, too.

The novelty of the architecture cannot be beat. It is incredible to see and learn the history of the structure. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, fitness center had some construction issues, and business center computers were down with no known time or date of repair.

Outstanding hotel in the heart of downtown. The only Frank Lloyd Wright hotel left in the world now I believe. I’d certainly recommend a stay! While in town try Northwest Steak House as well.
