We were so pleasantly surprised at how nice our stay was! I travel a lot for work and stay at chain hotels, so this was out of the norm for us to book. We are planning on coming back to the area just so we can stay at this hotel again! The staff was excellent, rooms were clean, and we had snacks waiting for us. What a wonderful trip!

The hotel from the outside is nice, but when you first arrive you think it’s just going to be a nice place to stay and that’s it. However, walk in and the atmosphere changes you feel like you stepped into resort and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly we felt like regulars returning instead of our first stay!! Then go to the pool and out to the courtyard and walk into another world. Waterfall, rhododendron beautiful lawn. This will be our go to for a short get away!! You have to go to understand!

The staff was absolutely excellent!! The lodge was maintained very well and the room was spacious and very clean! It is right off the highway for easy access. Breakfast was standard as many other hotels but hot food was hot and there was a staff member constantly available for any questions or requests. We were greeted everytime we came back "Welcome home" and wished well everytime we left. Again, the staff was truly amazing.

If you’re planning to explore the area, you won’t find a better location- it’s a half hour or less from everything! The staff is the absolute best- always friendly and helpful. Daily maid service is rare these days and was very much appreciated. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Breakfast is included and offers enough variety that we had something different each day. Fresh fruit was a plus! Ingles grocery store is close and we ended up planning and cooking most other meals in our room after a day of hiking and exploring. We really can’t say enough wonderful things! Thank you- we will be back!
