The motel is under renovation and you can see they are making improvements. I thought it was a pretty good deal for the price. They had some options for breakfast including make your own waffles. They are really cramped for area for breakfast but it worked out ok. This place isn’t too far off the highway and was easy to get to. There were two beds and I chose the one with the soft mattress. I ended up moving to the second bed because I was shuffled around every time my husband moved in his sleep. We brought our fan into the room and that helped keep air circulating. The staff was helpful. We would stay here again.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and great service. The manager, Yuvi, is a kind and good person who takes care of guests very well. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend Roosevelt Hotel to anyone traveling near Theodore national park ,medora musical ,makoshika park

I had a great experience at Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux, Montana. The staff was welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. Overall very comfortable. The owner and staff is very nice. The owner helped carry my suitcase out and offered me coffee to take along. The town was neat to drive around and had a nice shop that sells pottery and knickknacks for travelers.

The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast is simple but sufficient. It's close to the highway as well, yet quiet. You can't ask for better at this bargain price. Yes, the exterior is a bit shabby, but the rooms are fine. Call ahead and reserve directly from the hotel. Unlike big chain hotels, where the Hotels price is better than walking in the door to reserve, the Hotels website added a full $20 to the price at the Roosevelt

The hotel is under new management and renovations. We expected substandard accommodations because of the price. The room was immaculate., including the tub. Toilet and floor. The bed was comfortable. Recommendations for dinner was very good. Breakfast was sparse. An elderly employee made coffee. Polite and helpful..

Had trouble getting a working key at check in- took several tries. No instructions for A/C or TV Remote. Bedframe stuck out under mattress, creating a hazard. Breakfast was not great- no milk, no juice, second day no waffle mix made up. Multiple cereals thrown into one dispenser. But, we slept well and this was a very busy weekend so we appreciated having a room. And the Shamrock Club restaurant nearby was very friendly with good food.

Although the staff that were employed at this hotel were pleasant and helpful the place had much to be desired. The carpets were dirty with many crumbs on the floor by the headboards. The bathroom had dirt and bugs in the tub and sink. The breakfast area was not very clean. I would not eat there and went out for breakfast elsewhere. There was a very strong unpleasant odor in the hallways, management was trying to cover the smell by burning incense without success. The place has definitely fallen on hard times. Maybe you get what you pay for?

There was no smoke detector in the room. The wiring was exposed on the lamp, which was not attached to the wall. We were concerned there were many plugs, put into one surge protector in one outlet. Towels and linen are in desperate need of upgrade. It’s obvious they are in stages of renovation, our room was freshly painted. The maintenance man immediately repaired to the lamp. The entrance the front and the back did not walk. There was also no chain on the door.

The place isn't bad if you are prepared for the most basic kind of motel setup. It's a super quiet town so basically by default, it's also quiet and felt safe enough.
