We loved the southern hotel! We were there for my nephew's wedding. It's a quaint little place built in 1907. The rooms were clean. Staff were attentive and accommodating. Even flowers were sent to my sister's room when she broke her arm while jogging.

We had an enjoyable stay at the southern hotel. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the staff was nice and helpful and everything was neat and clean. Don't miss the Happy Hour at the bar on the main floor.

Not your standard mass-produced hotel. Built in the 1920 s and renovated in such a way that to retain the charm and provide all modern conveniences. The bathroom was especially appealing with a retro sink. Fast and courteous service. My only complaint was that I had to go to the lobby for morning coffee. If there was a little coffee maker in the room, I couldn't find it.

This is a lovely hotel. It was hurricane Ida and I can't say enough good things about the staff's kindness. Exceptional hospitality during difficult times.

This hotel is situated in the middle of the Old Town and close to all the popular restaurants, bars, boutiques, antique stores, and other attractions on foot. It has lovely hotels, attentive employees, and no hassles from the on-street parking. Close to the lobby, a quarantine bar, and some communal places. In the first section, we stayed in a suite. Advantages include separate living room areas, a coffee maker, a fridge, a micro-control, and a dining table. Comfortable bedding and bed linens. Large bathroom with a soaking tub, and a closet safe. Disadvantages are fairly noise-generating noise! There is no makeup mirror in the bedroom, and there is no makeup mirror in the bathroom. To help reduce traffic noise, thick drapes are needed to prevent light from filtering in.
