We didn't understand anything about our stay at this hotel and didn't feel valued and misled. The hotel is nice and in a beautiful setting. But our room was small and we didn't even have a chair. Most importantly, the absence of a breakfast option completely ruined our experience. I read rave reviews about the breakfast. But there is no breakfast service and it is very difficult to find breakfast near the hotel. We spent time driving, searching, and queueing for a place to eat in or, more likely, take out. Breakfast was served where we were staying. Even if it was a continental breakfast would improve the experience. At the very least, the website should make it clear that no breakfast service is provided. It would be helpful to provide a list of nearby restaurants to show visitors where they can eat.

The location is good, close to the Sugarbush and Mad River glen. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hangout area by the fire was fantastic for our family. The check out and check out procedures were simple. The owner is present and definitely cares about the place.

During our recent ski excursion to Sugarbush, we stayed at the white horse lodge. Especially for those who love skiing, it was a fantastic spot to remain. Guests staying here must take note that it is extremely basic, but that is part of the attraction, and it is very reasonably priced. There is a section where you may store food and has a microwave, toaster, and coffee. We brought our dinnerbreakfasts and just reheated them, which worked perfectly. You can also sit upstairs in a lovely roomlodge. Simple, comfortable beds and a small bathroom made the hotel room comfortable. When we stayed there, there were other guests, but it was quite peaceful. There aren't usually hotel personnel on site, but they are quick to get in touch through text or phone. We would return here. This isn't the place for you if you're looking for a pricey, cozy place to stay so you can explore the region. Go skiing, check out this location if you're looking for a basic, spotless, and quite reasonably priced place to stay so you can explore the area.

I would most probably stay at one of the more opulent ski resorts if back in Vermont. After driving through vermont's stunning autumn sunset and winding roads, we finally discovered the White Horse Lodge. The innkeeper suggested calling one of the only nearby restaurants that was open to see if they could accommodate us. Fortunately, they could, and we were placed while other guests were pushed aside. There aren't many dining options nearby. The restroom and shower were both tidy and modest, and the room itself was small. The bed was cozy. Innkeepers have sent me numerous texts with various updates.

Since the new management six months ago, this inn has no food on the property. Even though this community only has one restaurant serving a sitdown brunch. I always get breakfast at all other inns. Slats are installed on the mattresses. If the slats flip over, the mattress sinks in the middle., E. no box spring. Only when you lift the mattress to see what's going on, will you realize this. You will need to walk up a 45 degree incline to get out of bed, which is the only way to discover this. My husband and I couldn't pass each other at the end of the bed without one of us climbing on the bed so the other pass by. There is no ice There is a small mini fridge where 26 guest rooms can share space if they wish. Its a joke. I read some of the other reviews, and the typical response to a problem is that the inn is under new ownership. Its been six months since Ive complained. What about purchasing a full fridge or giving your guests access to a full fridge where ice can be stored? Because the area is relatively remote, having a few essentials is a requirement, in my opinion.
