What is Full Protection?

Full Protection is BCAinsurance's product designed specifically for tiket.com users. This insurance provides protection from unforeseen events, such as accidents or inconveniences during your trip.

 

By purchasing Full Protection, you are entitled to compensation due to accidents, trip delays or cancellations, baggage delays, baggage loss or damages, trip delays by the passenger, and missed flights or connections.

 

Full Protection is only available for transactions in IDR. To add this insurance to your trip, change your currency selection to IDR before transacting.

T&C and Other Info on the Full Proctection

  1. This Travel Insurance is an insurance product from PT Asuransi Umum BCA (BCAinsurance).
  2. The product offered is an Insurance Product.
  3. Travel Insurance can be purchased together with or separately from flight tickets via www.tiket.com, m.tiket.com, and the tiket.com app (iOS & Android).
  4. Travel Insurance is valid for trips using an airplane for One-Way Trips or Round Trips with Domestic or International routes.
  5. For Round Trip, this insurance covers travel from the departure location to the destination and back to the departure location under the same purchase code (order ID). The maximum gap between outbound and return flights is 365 days.
  6. For Round Trip, the insurance covers travel from abroad to Indonesia (inbound), from Indonesia abroad (outbound), or travel between foreign countries and back to the departure location under the same purchase code (order ID).
  7. This Travel Insurance is valid for all citizens aged 2 (two) to 65 (sixty-five) years on the departure date.
  8. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by family or an authorized guardian during the trip.
  9. tiket.com does not manage premiums and acts only as an intermediary between the Insured and Cermati Protect and BCAinsurance via the website or app.
  10. tiket.com has no obligation or responsibility regarding the purchase of the insurance product by the Insured.
  11. tiket.com reserves the right, without prior notice, to take any necessary actions if fraud is detected involving the Insured. 
  12. The Insured is a tiket.com customer individually named in the policy for the insured risk and thus has the right to receive insurance protection against potential risks.
  13. This insurance covers losses occurring while on the airplane and/or at the airport, for a maximum of 6 (six) hours from arrival or departure. It does not cover hotel stays at the airport.
  14. This coverage only applies if the policy is purchased before becoming aware of any events that may cause a disruption to the trip.
  15. In case of flight schedule changes (reschedule) by the airline or the Insured, the Insured must inform Cermati Protect of the new schedule before the departure date.
  16. If schedule changes are not reported to Cermati Protect before the departure date, claims related to such changes cannot be processed.
  17. Insurance premiums are non-refundable. 
  18. By having this Travel Insurance, the Insured will receive the benefits listed in the Benefits Table. 
  19. The insurance policy will be sent to the Insured via email.
  20. Claims can be reported through the Cermati Protect claims center at https://m.tiket.com/insurance-claim or via WhatsApp (chat only) at 0815-8500-9500 or email claims@cermatiprotect.com at their operational hours on Monday-Sunday, 09:00-21:00 GMT+7 (except on national holidays).
  21. An insurance company will not process a claim submission if the insurance policy was purchased after the Insured became aware of the event to be claimed, or after information about the event was made public.
  22. Claims must be reported within a maximum of 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of the incident, accompanied by supporting documents or evidence to facilitate claim verification. Any costs incurred to obtain such documents are the responsibility of the Insured. All claims must include the Insured’s data as stated in the Policy.
  23. Complete claim documents must be submitted to the Insurer via Cermati Protect within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the claim report. If the documents are incomplete after this period, the claim process cannot continue. 

  24. If within ninety (90) calendar days the Insured is unable to provide a valid bank account, or in the case of the Insured being a Foreign National (non-Indonesian citizen) without a local bank account, the Insured agrees that the approved claim payment will be transferred to tiket.com to be converted into Blibli Tiket Points.

  25. The Insured is advised to carefully read all coverage and exclusion details in the BCAinsurance Policy.

  26. The Insured authorizes BCAinsurance to use or provide information and/or details about the Insured that are available, obtained, or stored by BCAinsurance (as stated in the Coverage Request, Policy, or other insurance product documents) for the purpose of Coverage Request processing, claim payment, or servicing the Insured. The Insured also understands the right to correct or add information by contacting BCAinsurance.

  27. The Insured authorizes BCAinsurance to use and/or provide information and/or details about the Insured related to the Policy under this Coverage Request, including but not limited to information regarding premiums.

  28. Risks Policyholders Should Be Aware of When Purchasing Travel Insurance:
  • Cancellation Risk
    If the Policy is canceled by the Insured before the end of the Insurance Period, the premium already paid by the Insured is non-refundable.
     
  • Credit Risk
    The Insured is exposed to the Credit Risk of PT Asuransi Umum BCA as the risk underwriter of the insurance product. Credit risk relates to the company’s ability to fulfill its obligations to policyholders. PT Asuransi Umum BCA has successfully maintained performance above the minimum capital adequacy requirements set by the Government.
     
  • Operational Risk
    Risk arising from insufficient and/or malfunctioning internal processes, human error, system failures, and/or external events affecting the operations of PT Asuransi Umum BCA.

29. A portion of the premium paid by the Insured or Policyholder is forwarded as commission to the marketing party for promoting the Insurance Product.

30. By purchasing this Travel Insurance product, the Insured confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions of the Travel Insurance product voluntarily and without any coercion from any party, including but not limited to BCAinsurance.

31. The Insured hereby agrees that all claim payments made by BCAinsurance will be disbursed through Cermati Protect. The Insured understands that all claim payments from BCAinsurance via Cermati Protect are final, complete, and conclusive, and cannot be contested by any party once the claim funds are received according to the Policy provisions. The Insured agrees to return any claim payment received from Cermati Protect if it is later found that fraud or other actions causing loss to BCAinsurance occurred.
