I spent three nights here. This hotel has a strategic location on the waterfront. The room was huge and comfortable. Service is good and helpful especially in planning your travel. I like the pub's dinner and breakfast with canal views.

This is not a hotel but a house with a number of rooms to rent. First, you check into another nearby hotel. A day in advance, you receive helpful information about this via mail. Because I arrived early, the staff was very welcoming and allowed me to leave my baggage there. My key arrived at 3 am, and it was initially a challenge to find the hotel, but it is the first home on the corner of the square. It has a sign stating lots of motel. A man in the restaurant with the same door showed me which key to use for the front door when it was closed. The stairs were quite steep, and I wouldn't be happy with a large suitcase, but this time I was lucky. Comparable to most business hotels I usually visit, room 205 has it's charm. The room was clean, but there was no toilet paper. Lucky me, I was able to find some employees before they left. The bathroom is quite small but functional. There is no shower curtain. AC windows must be open. If your over 190 am theres a high risk of hitting your head. Overall, a good, decent room at a reasonable price. I realize that many people have different opinions on whats acceptable, but I like the charm. Located in the heart of the city. Even though bars and festivals might be an issue for light sleepers, the room itself gave me

This is not a hotel, but I have good experiences in hostels like this one. If youre in this category and only plan to remain one night, I don't think it's a big problem. If not, simply find another location! The receptionist was friendly and the room was clean. He greeted us in an old bar! We had to pay in cash, but it wasn't fun for me personally because we got room 5. The bathroom was quite small, but the water pressure was adequate for longhair people. We stayed there on a sunday, so the environment wasn't noisy. No one handled the checkout. This was a 2 star hotel, although it wasn't terrible.

The hotel is located on the old Rien River with an outdoor terrace facing it. The rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, the terrace is large and the bathroom is big and includes a bathtub and shower as well. The staff is very friendly in all areas hotel, bar, and restaurant. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service and meals were very good. The breakfast included in the price is one of the best I've ever had! We were asked daily if we would like to follow the green practice of cleaning the room, which I believe is useful if you do not need the room cleaned every day!.

Saya beruntung dapat kesempatan menginap di hotel ini ketika saya diundang untuk acara di Kebun Raya Leiden. Hotel ini persis di seberang stasiun leiden sentral, jadi sangat mudah bagi kita yang baru datang dari Jakarta ke Amsterdam dan naik kereta langsung ke stasiun yang berdekatan dengan hotel ini. This is the best place to stay when in Leaden. The location of this hotel is quite strategic, next to a train and bus stop and 5 minutes walk from the main streets. Aside from that, the accommodation was clean, the breakfast was good, and also a helpful place.

I spent a week at the Rose on business. While I was skeptical after reading the other reviews and looking at the website, I was very happy to be pleasantly surprised. This is ideal if one wants a homey feel than a standard hotel room in the heart of Leaden. The six-room, pretty lovely, felt newly renovated. I like the idea that interior elements have been picked for the room. The only thing I missed was a full-length mirror. The shower was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would certainly return. But, like other reviewers, it is not a hotel for those who struggle to climb and descend stairs.

Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, and helpful and welcoming staff. I really enjoyed everything about the hotel. beautiful rooms, not large, but everything you need. Stairs are steep and narrow, so if you're more mobile, take a room on the entrance level. Each room appears different, but they're all very charming. Our room had a bathroom on a separate level with no doors to close, so that's not for everyone, but on the other hand, you get the most lovely bathroom lamp ever.

We only stayed for one night to kick off our trip to Europe. Rotterdams po airport is about a 45minute drive away. Parked at the nearby morspoort multistorey, which was only a few minutes walk, see separate review. The hotel was spotless and efficient, and there was a tasty breakfast. The location is ideal, with the train stop directly across the street, making getting into Amsterdam quick and simple. As per the lady at the ticket counter, we made a family ticket online and lowered the cost by 10 euros from the ticket office. I would suggest spending your day in Leaden rather than Amsterdam if you are staying only one night. A lovely town with a very chill atmosphere, we wished we hadnt been bother going into Amsterdam as it was a little crowded.

We stayed in May for four nights. The staff was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The room was good. The restaurantbrasserie was crowded and situated on a lovely waterfront, which was a good sign. The food was of good quality. Although the town center and train station are only a 45-minute walk away, we did it cheerfully several times. Leaden is a lovely town, and there is always a bus or taxi. All good until it was time to pay the bill. The a la carte menu was good and offered a cheaper price for three courses from a restricted choice. The bill did not make up the cheaper price, everything was priced individually. When challenged, the bill was amended, but when we checked out, the incorrect bills were included even though the right signed bills were along. Not just us. The woman right next to us was having the same issue.

Very charming, relocating, quiet hotel with excellent staff. A wonderful location to stay for brief to medium stays. Lovely, tastefully decorated rooms, excellent wifi, and breakfast a special favorite of mine big, quiet room, great coffee, fresh rolls, nearby parking lots, and assistance with anything and everything if needed.

The hotel is highly recommended. A gorgeous, tiny hotel that is situated on a canal, close to the city center. We were grateful we chose this town over Amsterdam because it has so many canals but is much quieter. As a university town, there are lots of young people and more bicycles per person than any location I've ever visited! It is a must-visit place to dine. Around May weekend, the tulip season ends. Also visited Amsterdam, where it is truly worthwhile to go on canal boat rides.

We stayed at this hotel because of it's riverside location and free parking. The hotel itself comprises different styles and dates of construction which are interconnected and include a very historic component. Large old photographs of the original owner's family are found throughout the hotel. What a lovely touch and I was astonished to see them. The public areas and guest rooms are of high quality. We didn't eat dinner, but the breakfast buffet style was wonderful for choice and of a very high standard. All dairy and cold meats were submerged in a cold chill section to keep them fresh and nice. I also like the hotel's green credentials. The only positive feedback I would give is that while it's nice to have a separate shower, the shower was very small and cramped with no internal light making it very dark. I would have preferred no bath and a double walk-in shower. Maybe this might be considered in the future.
