We were a couple who heard about taka after visiting Uganda tourist information since we wanted to move from a boring, outdated hostel. We were fortunate because, despite the fact that there was only one six-person campippe cabana available, the owners daughter at the front desk offered us a very good preseason rate. The cabana is in fantastic condition, clean, comfortable, and equipped with kitchenware. Nightlife on the road is absent. From their location on a tiny hill, each cabana offers breathtaking open views of the Beagle Channel. The daughter of the owners is friendly, helpful, and speaks excellent English. A large supermarket is only a 5-minute walk away. The only downside is a pleasant 10- to 15-minute walk along the seafront to the center of town bus terminal, but taxis cost less than 5 euros for arriving with luggage. Taka is on the airport side of the town, making for a straightforward 7-minute taxi ride.

The place is fantastic, with views of the channel, and the service is also superb. I booked my cabin machi through airing. Guadalupe welcomed me when I arrived and recommended places in and around Ubud. Based on my situation, she was even fine with late checkout and called me a taxi whenever I was leaving. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely stay again when I visit Ubud.

Everything was wonderful, the only disadvantage is that there is no water available in the cabana, so we had to buy water from the grocery store. Other than that everything was fantastic. Excellent view from the living room and dining room and one of the bedrooms.

I would highly suggest this location! We spent two nights in a onebedroom cabana here. We believed the mother of the owner checked us in and didn't speak much English, but we communicated well in Spanish, she was very helpful and welcoming. The cabin itself had amazing views of the Beaver Channel and had everything we needed. It's a short walk to town and restaurants. We also hiked up to martial glacier from the hotel on our way. Although I was not impressed, the larger hotel next door has a pizza place that serves breakfast.
