The BB Villa couldn't be any closer to the Amy Gillet Bikeway which gives a car-free connection to many tourist destinations in the area. The Villa is clean, spacious and well equipped. The hosts are on-site during the day (at the Barristers Block winery cellar door) and they respond quickly to any requests. We plan to go back.

The BB Villa couldn't be any closer to the Amy Gillet Bikeway which gives a car-free connection to many tourist destinations in the area. The Villa is clean, spacious and well equipped. The hosts are on-site during the day (at the Barristers Block winery cellar door) and they respond quickly to any requests. We plan to go back.

On arrival we were greeted with a friendly greeting and discovered we had the whole cottage to ourselves. A basket containing milk, bread, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon was delivered to the house and on the kitchen table a complimentary bottle of red. Tea and coffee available. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are games to play and DVD ‘s to watch, bikes to ride or just stroll around the property and feed the animals or just relax with a bottle of wine and delicious anti pasta platter on the shady veranda and take in the scenery. A sandpit and toys for the children to play in! Very peaceful, restful holiday if you just want to chill. Situated in Woodside, Only 20mins drive to Hahndorf and about an hour to Adelaide. Would not hesitate to recommend for a peaceful, restful holiday. A get away from the rat race.

Lovely old cottage with country-style modern kitchen & gorgeous bathrooms (one is en-suite). Decor is quite boho with unique touches such as an antique games table & comfy slouch chairs, huge array of novels & books, and lovely couch in the lounge. Bedrooms have open fireplaces & air-con. Beds are really comfy with down donnas & pillows - so we slept very well. Two downside was the non-stop music from the nearby winery cafe & lack of privacy was an issue as we found it unnerving that diners could see us through the windows as there were no blinds/curtains. We couldn't enjoy the little porch either, as it was right next to where 50-60 diners sit on outside tables! We were not informed the 'villa' was within a busy winery & it wasn't in the property description. it did interfere with our much wanted 'quiet weekend away from it all'. The included cook yourself breakfast is lovely: bacon, eggs from the properties chooks, tomatoes, sourdough baguette, herbs & bottles of quality juice.
