Emma (owner) was lovely and easy going. No problems with us wondering the farm, petting the animals and looking around. Extremely interesting to here about Emma and Marks self-sustainability goals and how they've achieved their progress so far. The animals were all friendly and gave good entertainment. Extremely happy with our weekend away at the farm :)

We spent three nights at Blackwattle Farm's rain forest cabin and had a really amazing time. Quiet and peaceful place, tidy and with everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space and the bbq are excellent additions. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Children loved playing with the dogs and piglet - and feeding the animals. Will definitely return for more!

The accommodation is new and well kept. Emma is friendly and feeding the animals was a nice addition. Bed is comfy, breakfast was delightful and I must say better value than others in the area. No regrets. Thank you

Blackwattle Farm is a quaint little B&B within a five minute drive of Beerwah and a short drive from the hinterland towns, and the coastal towns. Emma is a lovely host who was happy to show us around the farm and answer all our queries, without intruding on our privacy. The breakfast was more than ample and the fresh local fruits were delicious. The cottage comprises a huge sunroom/dining area, together with a delightfully decorated bedroom and gorgeous period-style bathroom. The farm and animal views from the bedroom were a pleasure to wake to! I would definitely recommend a stay at Blackwattle for anyone who would like some R&R. We felt very relaxed after our few nights there.

Arriving at Blackwattle Farm, over a wooden creek crossing and down along a tree-lined track, we were greeted by some very friendly puppies and Wormie, a piglet whose personality is in inverse proportion to his size. Once we had dropped our things at the gorgeous bungalow (which has an excellent iPod playlist by the way), we headed up the hill to meet Emma, our host and owner of the property. At 4pm it was feeding time and we spent a good hour playing, feeding and learning about all the animals on the farm. From the cheeky and playful baby goats, to the aloof alpacas. Our kids had a wonderful time and it was so nice to see them enjoying being on a farm for the afternoon. For the evening we had a bonfire in the backyard, roasting marshmallows and sausages, as well as some seafood we had brought which we cooked on the barbecue. All washed down with a glass of red looking at the stars as the embers died. The bungalow is well insulated and so kept us warm all night long. Overall I would love to have stayed for at least 2 days to make the most of this wonderful farm stay.

It was my first time to stay at such a cozy and tiny B&B. Everything was clean and tidy. The highlight was the farm, where I saw four alpacas, three cows, several pet pigs and goats. The host was kind and hospitable. We spent a memorable night with a magnificent night sky view and peaceful setting. If you want to have a short term getaway, it will be a best choice definitely.
