The Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshop) was a melting pot of fine and applied art that gave a completely new perspective on life, freed from the shackles of the past. The interpretation of Art Nouveau by the Viennese “Jugendstil” artists, broke both the boundaries of banal, everyday objects and complex architectural challenge.
