The location is strategic, near the train station and many eateries. The Taiping Lake Garden is 15-min walk. The hotel is located not too far from Perak Museum and Taiping Mall. The room cleanliness is also excellent. Only remember to be careful if you put some food and sweet beverage on the table near TV. Some ants may crawl into your food. The auntie who serves the front office is also friendly and helpful. As my request for early check-in could be entertained, she did her best to accommodate my need for early check-in. So, I decided to upgrade my room in order to have an early check-in. She assigned me a room with Bukit Larut view. Really appreciate her gesture. She also repeatedly asked me whether my room was satisfactory. Other staff are also nice and courteous, including the housekeeping Abang and morning shift front office staff. I feel safe staying at this hotel and walking around the premises.
