I stayed one night and followed the owner's directions on how to get there. The entrance initially appears to be a typical home, but there is a sign outside. The wife greeted me and promptly showed me around the house. The husband offered to drive me to and from the tube water town. The nice owner prepared my dinner and breakfast. It was simple but very nice, authentic, and had a generous portion. The owners couldn't speak English, so I believe they called their son for translation, etc. However, I don't think non-chinese speakers will have a big problem. The house is not inside the water town. It may be a little far, but the owners have no problem moving you around at a modest fee.

Very easy guesthouse with helpful couple. We stayed as a group of friends in this gorgeous guesthouse close to the wall. They gave us a lift to and from Beijing at a very affordable price. We visited the tube water town, the Simatai section, and the Panglonshan section of the great wall. The couple drove us to each of these areas for a small price.

If you came to visit Japan in the next year, you will walk through Jinshanling and climb Simatai, and we will certainly stay in your home. This month, we were scheduled to spend our night at a Jumanyuan Folk Inn, also known as Jumanyuan House, but since the authorities had recently closed jinshanling's great wall for renovations, we have decided to cancel our trip to this region and instead take a trip to Jiankou instead. Since I are a resident of this place, I can't review this property, but I can mention the excellent service we received. They took care of all of our needs, including providing us with affordable car transfers from Beijing, quick to answer requests, and in every way. They even took our luggage in a taxi to the wall rather than providing a storage space on the journey. 5-star service and I wish them all the best in their endeavors, which I believe they just assumed over.

The place was just like a house, but this place had a common element. The food was very tasty, and the friendliness of the staff was friendly. This place has a street sign that says "took us to the lake" because there's no beach close by. There is an oah-mazing view of the lake. The room was so simple, like a twin with toiletries and towels, the owner isn't good with English. He picked us up from the front desk, the location was pretty close to the water town. The next day after ordering the tickets, our host took us to the inhaling part of the great wall.
