This is the second time I stayed in an Itamandu Eco Lodge in the Amazon rainforest. The owner named Octavia is also a local guide, and we meet his family in their local szechuan community. It was nice to disconnect from the world for a few days because there is no cell service or internet. But then the hotel was lovely and friendly. After that, the food was amazing. Subsequently, the location was a bit remote and the location was quiet, in the middle of the jungle.

What a lovely lodge in the jungle. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the river. The food was delicious. Around the pool, there is a nice lounge area. Our English guide, Octavia, was fantastic and taught us a lot about the rainforest and how indigenous people live in this area. The staff is really friendly. Nevertheless, it's not that deep in the jungle. The locals own some plantations along the river and are still hunting animals. Also, a large portion of the forest is secondary forest, so it is about 25 years old since there were previously plantations. Just bear this in mind. We had a great time and recommend a 3-night stay to see as much as possible. Thanks Itamandi!.

Without a doubt, the following incident, when we stayed in a lodge portion that was removed from the main building, this eco hotel has the potential to be a good tourist attraction. Our room was on the first floor, and a young Belgian couple on their honeymoon was adjacent to us in a separate room. We screamed for help when 1130 a. M. We heard a woman's blood-curdling scream. A screen porch with no locks had been broken into by some nearby contractor who was drunk and broke into their room through a screen porch that was not locked. Since the employees sleep in another area and the exterior building has no night watchman or exterior lighting. The hotel tries to control this crime by not including the police. In other words, they overcounted my drink and attempted to charge her for 24 beers over a two-day stay. Beware, you cannot sign for each drink or can pay at the time of service, which is a big fraud they are operating. Mar tried to argue but was hopeless and had to cash out when checking out. Credit cards are not accepted and your company never warned tourists of this.

We were completely blown away by the beauty and hospitality of the itamandu eco lodge in the amazon rainforest. It was so nice to disconnect from the world for a few days as there was no cell service or internet. The accommodations are rustic but clean and comfortable. The food was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about our local guide, octavia who brought us to meet his family in a local szechuan community. After spending 2 days in the jungle with him as our guide, I just wish I could spend a month.

We had a great experience at the lodge. Beautiful rooms and delicious food. I am a vegetarian and they were extremely helpful in providing delicious vegetarian food. There is no electricity, no wifi, no fans, nice fixtures, and some hot water. The pool is wonderful and refreshing! Octavia, one of our English-speaking guides, was the best. Friendly, hardworking, excellent in English, and hilarious! We had a great time. I recommend sunscreen and insect spray. Boots are provided.
