It's magical, as the only thing that can describe our stay at Eyjasol 2's. On December 5, my partner and I were given a clean, welcoming, and functional cottage. We felt at home away from home, and the atmosphere was inviting. This cottage is situated in a lovely, remote, and spectacular setting that is surrounded by natural wonders just a 15-minute drive from Geyser and a further 15 minutes from Gloss. The hot tub was lovely and soothing because the first few days were typically wintery, cloudy, and wet, which suited the hot tub as a result. We had the unique chance at a break in the clouds at night, allowing for a stunning display of the northern lights. We were able to run up a hill near the property to get an amazing view of the evening's festivities. Amazing! For the two of us, our time in the bungalow was a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. We'll cherish the memories until our next visit and decades later. I appreciate it so much!.

Despite the property's excellent usage, it was quite pleasant and quite hot. Despite a few flaws, including the shower head's awkward fitting, it was well appointed, and everything you needed was there. The sofa, as well as the bed, was cozy, and there was everything you could possibly need, including a toaster, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and freezer. Despite the assertions made by other guests in the guestbook that it would be difficult, the wifi was excellent. You'll just need to plug the router in and search for the wireless code on the back of it. We successfully did, and it worked out perfectly. Note that some people claimed to have sat in the hot tub with their telescopes watching the auroras, but when it's cloudy, it's probable the lights were reflections from the greenhouses in Reykholt. However, because it was far enough away and sufficiently dim that we could stand outside the front door and observe them from the lights, we were able to see them.

I will not hesitate to return. Excellent but remote location. The house is well laid out, warm and comfortable with all the necessities. Small supermarket about 10 km away. A good location for visiting attractions in the Golden Circle. The only complaint was that the spa hot tub was out of order and therefore unusable and appeared to have been broken for a few months after the comments in the guest book.

Staying in a cottage, with a hot pot to bathe outside of the house, is very nice. It was peaceful and beautiful surroundings, with the scent of grass and trees in the air. It is totally worth it to stay there, especially for families to enjoy being together.
