Excellent apartment/hotel in Reykjavik. Great location downtown, close to all the shopping and bus stops 3 and 6 for bus tours. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals. The only thing is that it’s a bit loud at night due to nearby bars and restaurants. But the hotel provides earplugs. Comfortable rooms and bed which made our trip even more enjoyable. Will stay here again.

Excellent apartment/hotel in Reykjavik. Great location downtown, close to all the shopping and bus stops 3 and 6 for bus tours. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals. The only thing is that it’s a bit loud at night due to nearby bars and restaurants. But the hotel provides earplugs. Comfortable rooms and bed which made our trip even more enjoyable. Will stay here again.

Fantastic option in downtown Reykjavik. Centrally located. Very clean apartment. Near main street with restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores -- but far enough away that it was quiet. Highly recommend!

Quiet overall. There are times after 900pm that planes fly over area. The water will smell funny due to the sulfur that is natural but you get used to it. The staff at the Center hotel across the street were universally pleasant and helpful. The apartment has a clothes washer and dishwasher which simplifies things and allows one to bring less clothes. The neighborhood is very lively and feels very safe. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. As has been said in other review of Iceland, eating out and buying alcohol is very expensive (similar to NYC prices) but there is a decent grocery stores about a two minute walk away.

The apartment we were allocated was not so similar to the images ie the only window was the entrance door and the look was more of a log house with timber wall. The place was nice and cozy though and the location was right at the heart downtown. Parking was on the street which is free at off peak hours only. Facilities and appliances priced were good quality and made the stay that more comfortable. We were On bottom floor which is below street level there were loud thumping from unit above until way past midnight and with no reception there was really no one we could have reported to. All in all we are happy with our stay.
