We had a great time at the Sugar Villas and were very impressed by the immaculate room and bathroom. As other reviewers have noted, the wifi was superior to mine in the uk in many respects. We frequently bring our own muesli to India because it is not readily accessible, and our host brought us fruit specially for us, so we couldn't have been better taken care of in that regard. We would eat on the raised platform at the lagoons edge and observe the gorgeous wildlife in front of us, as well as the family is delightful, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful in every way, and they even moved us to a larger room when it became available for no extra charge. They also offered us the use of a motor scooter, which we declined, but I took advantage of the pedal bikes offer. However, during our 7 night stay, there was no hot water available in the sink or shower, and I didn't expect it to be fixed soon after I asked about it. Speaking of electricity, my wife would leave her phone on duty during the day and sometimes evening, and we noticed that the main power to the room had been switched off. I presume that people who had been there the week before said it was the same for them. I don't think visitors ask if hot water is available in a property that boasts wifi, and it's not a shack off-

It is a beautiful property that is 5 minutes walk from the beach. There is a tiny, sit-out-like space with views of the lake in the clean and immaculate rooms. The rooms are well-ventilated and come with wifi and air conditioning. The delicious, authentic herald breakfast is served piping hot in the morning. They only offer breakfast. Because we are vegetarians and the local restaurants most of the time serve seafood, making it difficult for us to schedule lunch and dinner on our own. The property's breakfast was excellent though. Nish, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful. She suggested some beautiful restaurants with vegetarian options. Communication was a little challenging, but she resolving some broken English. I somehow had the impression that a homestay has a personal touch.

The owner and his wife are very friendly and friendly. This is a comfortable lodging where the owners are so friendly and warm. They have a variety of bars and restaurants near the sugar, which is really convenient. Good choices are available. Our room was small, the double bed was against a wall, but comfortable, and there was a private balcony facing the river at the back of the property. Ideal for relaxing and sitting in the shade. There are reading lights, which are a plus. Shower only cold water. On request, a bucket of hot water can be brought. There are many relaxing areas outside and a hammock which is really good. Breakfast is served in an outdoor dining area with a choice of cooked eggs or local food available. Our car and driver could not park near the nearest parking lot, however, they allowed him to park at a relative's house. Most lodgings normally provide an outside toilet and sink for the driver.

The hotel is in a very pleasant position, right on the backwater lake, where we had a delicious heraldstyle breakfast served on the elevated deck and with a beautiful lake view. The room and bathroom were clean and spotless. Everything was fresh and modern. The internet was very fast. Rajesh and his family were very welcoming and warm to us when we arrived, and we were given cold fresh juice.

I had a fantastic stay at cherai, in a homestay that was comfortable and safe. The accommodation was neat and nice even though it wasn't in a well-equipped star hotel. On one side of the lake is a stunning view and on the other is the frontal sea view. Spending time there is a treat, especially during the rainy season, because it has a common hall overlooking the sea and the lake on both sides. The local restaurants in Cherai serve very well, offering the tastiest, freshest, and reasonably priced menu of fish. A fantastic location to spend some time here for a few days. Monday through Saturday are preferable. Saturday Sunday is a busy day, but it's a calm and wonderful place to spend 2 or 3 nights with family.
