We stayed here because we had unintentionally reserved the next door for the wrong dates, but fortunately there was availability at the same rate! Buds center is really busy, so there is a lot of competition. This place is near enough to walk into 510 minutes, but far enough away to enjoy the silence. I was also not woken up by any crowing roosters, which seems to be a common problem! The rooms were clean and comfortable with very nice beds and working air conditioning, but the bathrooms could use some work. The soapshampoo dispenser was damaged, and the shower had seen better days while it still worked. However, the staff was extremely friendly and willing to resolve any problems. The included breakfast was also nice and generous. They also organize activities for relatively decent prices, and the driver they booked for us was excellent.

At the conclusion of August, we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. However, the hotel and pool seem far more luxurious in the pictures than in reality. The hotel's grounds are lovely, but they could use some tidying up. Algae was covering the pool and water features. The rooms are very basic and lack a fridge or safe. Daily changes were made of the bed, but they were given stains on the bed each day. We never received any new towels while there either. Our breakfast was delicious, but we had better while in Bud.

So it's o. The location of the guest house is ideal, it's a street away from the hustle and bustle, the apartment is clean, the staff is helpful. Not too impressed with the breakfast being a vegetarian, but good place, nice people, walking distance from the shopping area and walking distance to the monkey forest. So I'm done with it.

I am so happy I found this place! Simple, clean, affordable, and a lovely lush and peaceful escape from the busy streets of Bud. I had the pleasure of returning home to a traditional family home, and the staff made me feel very welcome. The room was spacious, and I particularly enjoyed having a personal patio to sit out on and be close to the rain while remaining damp. A great cafe was also just a five-minute walk away, which was ideal for breakfast.

I was more than happy with my choice. The host family and their staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and opened onto a small, peaceful garden. I enjoyed the breakfast choices and was delighted to be offered a drink or a treat on my return most days. The location is convenient for walking and transport is easily arranged for tours or evening events. I would definitely return to the village guesthouse. It is great value for money.
