Candra is the most pleasant person. He took us and the other guests on our first night of stay for a walk around the island and showed us if we wanted to have supper. His character is fascinating and has wonderful stories to tell. Unfortunately, he got sick and closed the hostel for several days but allowed us to stay which we were very grateful for because we loved the place. We got delicious pancakes every morning and it was in t hs location. The only downside is that the mosque next door woke us up every day, but this is common in lombok and other places in indonesia, and its not the hotel fault. Thank you candra for an enjoyable stay in Gili trawangan.

This is my favorite hostel ive ever stayed in during my trip. Ive remained here three times and all of them have been fantastic. Candra, the owner and host, is one of the most genuine people out there. Could not recommend it enough!.

We stayed at this hostel for 5 nights and were a bit sad when we left. Candra, the host, made us feel right at home in this cute quiet but socially friendly and clean place. There are two cats and some of the best pancakes for breakfast ive ever had hehe. We shared the same room as other people who said it had an smelly bathroom - we didnt have that problem. If we come back, we will definitely stay there again!.

We really felt at home at the house hostel. The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed with nice rooms and a great color palette. Candra is also incredibly welcoming and can make the best banana pancakes that come included too! He also took us on tuesday tours to the finest viewpoints for free and told us about some of the history of gili trawangan and indonesian as well. I couldnt recommend the home hostel more if you want to come to giri and have yawn base!.

The atmosphere was excellent, and the owner, jandra, who i believe, at the front desk, was incredibly considerate, kind, undeniably honest. The rooms were well worth the price we paid. There are no issues with this place. I intend to return and stay there. Very pleasant vibe, especially the complimentary banana pancakes in the morning, which seemed like a nice touch, particularly with free water. You actually get more than you pay for. Im very pleased.

We had such a wonderful stay at the house hostel, and candra is incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us tips and made us feel very welcome. The location itself was ideal for us because it was more laid back yet close enough to walk or bike to certain areas. It was really nice to have access to fresh water, tea, coffee, of course, the delicious banana pancakes. We were staying in idly up top for 3 nights, but after that we had to extend our stay for 2 more nights because we felt at home. Everyone was so friendly and there was essentially tastier atmosphere around. Candra offered many excursions, could rent bikes, provided laundry services, etc. Everything was made super simple by candrus offers numerous trips, wasable to hire bikes and receive laundry assistance! He took us all out to oaster point and then down to the beach to see the sunset. This was such an enjoyable way to meet everyone else. Would easily return to this hostel if we ever return we enjoyed ourselves so much and it came down with having accomodation! Would strongly recommend if you want to stay close to the harbor. Had a great time at this hostel, the owner, candra, is genuinely shrewd. It has tidiness and is much like 'give respect get respect'. The dorms are simple but comfortable, and the air conditioning worked in both. There were no complaints about the shower or bathroom, nor the communal areas had idy. Theyll prepare you illinois banana pancake for breakfast served with honey. I also made u reservations on these guys advice.

The host, candra, is exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable and informative, he is always ready to assist with any activity on the island. The accommodations are exceptionally affordable, some of the cheapest on all islands, and of comparable quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Once again, thank you, cadra. Additionally, his delicious banana pancakes for breakfast are available for free!.
