Abbiamo avuto difficoltà per trovare Casalicchio ; solamente alla stazione FFS di Cammarata ci sono state date indicazioni che ci hanno portato in una zona dove finalmente abbiamo trovato la segnaletica che indicava l'agriturismo. Consiglio di non fare da se ma di chiedere alla gentilissima signora il percorso migliore . La permanenza è stata eccellente come pure il pranzo serale.

The only thing to regret at Agriturismo Casalicchio is that we didn't stay longer. We spent two nights and found it to be a wonderful way to get a feeling for for Sicilian country life atmosphere. The place is truly beautiful and romantic, an old style, well kept hacienda in the hills, with a family feel to it and the sound of nature all around you. Of our two weeks in Sicily, this is also where we got the best food, - delicious! Organic, directly off the farm, all served as rustic Sicilian specialities in a big italian style dinner (make sure you're hungry..). The lovely elderly couple that runs it are really friendly and service minded. We got alot of great tips for things to see and do in the area and when you get back in the afternoon there's a nice pool area too cool of by. You can also trek the hillsides behind or enjoy their beautifully decorated terrace - or the common room with a great antique style pool table. It's easy to find by car, with marked signs by the road SS 189. I highly recommend this place if you wan't the experience of agritourism!

An absolute treasure! We traveled from Los Angeles to Sicily for 5 days, and this was our favorite stop. The family was fantastic, and the area was beautiful. They were multilingual, so communication was easy. We went on a tour of their olive tree grove and learned everything about how olive oil is made, and then had a lovely, delicious supper overlooking the fields. After dinner, we relaxed by the pool and took in the night sky. Since the area is so far from light pollution, the sky was clear, and the stars were bright. If you visit the region, you must do this. This family and their be are exactly what tourists come to Italy for heart, soul, views, and home-made, local food.

We had the good fortune to spend two excellent starlit evenings here. It is a wonderful place to get away from everything and a good starting point to explore some beautiful rural villages in the area. This is a rustic farm, not a boutique. The rooms are not of high quality, but it is a rustic farm and a rustic village in the area. The rooms were tidy, with working air conditioning and comfortable beds. Who needs high tech when the purpose of this place is to get away from all that and relax? A review said the owner was a little overbearing, but we found her to be charming and she simply wanted to make sure everything was okay and she did this in a friendly and welcoming manner. Stella, who seems to do everything, was very helpful and attentive. Both nights, we ate here and found the food to be delicious and plentiful and good value for money. Breakfast was plentiful with freshly cooked scrambled eggs if you wanted them. lovely, kept pool with drinks served by Stella if you wanted it. I would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of escapeing to the lovely Sicilian countryside.

We had a great time there, I will surely return. For a wedding, we traveled to Mustomeli, and spent three days at this lovely country retreat. The location was conveniently situated away from the city, offering some spectacular views, as well as a fascinating trek through the mountains into town. Julius and Franca were the hosts, and they were incredibly charming. They were frequently available to help and personally greeted us. We enjoyed many lively conversations about their early life, as well as some outstanding details about the area. The food was delicious, and it pleasantly delighted us. It was reasonably priced, perhaps a little higher than most places in town, but the quality was there. One day, we had the pool to ourselves, and it was bliss. Julius joined us for a few hours while you could hear a pin drop.

The place has an amazing location with an amazing location. The food is fantastic. We got to learn about olive oil production and tasting local cheese. We also got to go on a farm. This place is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view.
