We have stayed in a few heritage buildings in Europe, including france, germany, and Italy. The Villa Maria was the best real experience we had. This place isnt a highly soughtafter renovation of a touristy investing establishment. Its owned and run by an individual who inherited the property from her predecessors. A lot of antiques, many characters, and a calm kindness are all present. The owners reside on the top floor, making it easier if you are a traveler who doesnt speak Italian and concerned about urgent help in case necessary, for example if you travel with children. Every day, the homemade breakfast featured something different. Every request for assistance, an extra fan in the summer, luggage storage, and cutlery for takeaway dinner, you name it. A lovely pool for kids. The free coffee, tea, and grappa that is available 24x7 is the final touch.

Villa Mara produces its own high quality prosecco and wine. The tasting party is exceptional. And it is not necessary to take the train to Venice. The grappa capital of the world Hassan is a must-see. The management and personnel of Villa Mara are helpful, friendly, and open-minded.

We have stayed in agriturismo restaurants in south Italy and have always had great food there, so when my son recommended we stay in an agriturismo, we had no doubts that it would be a good experience. The first thing to say is that it is a lovely, traditional country house, the antiques inside are lovely, the rooms are tastefully furnished with antique beds, etc. but have modern bathrooms.

The place is wonderful! I was impressed with the kind and tidy staff, the peculiar and spotless rooms, and the terrific pool. I would happily return because the home is rich in history, with family ties back to 1160. The location is in an excellent position.

I was there last week. I'm very satisfied with the service. They are very professional, caring, the breakfast buffet was tasty and with plenty of options. The rooms are spacious and well designed. The villa feels trapped in history. You can see a wonderful collection of items from the first world war at a small museum there. There is a small pool and lots of parking, the area is great for relaxing and having a good weekend. Visit some castles, wineries or go simple walking and enjoy the local cuisine.
