I highly suggest it! Don't pass up an excellent, delectable, and practical place! During the grape harvest, I spent two nights at Villa Ulivello in Chiang, and it was an outstanding experience! On a Friday afternoon, I arrived and checked into the lovely villa, which had recently undergone renovation. My room was spacious, with delectable ceilings and a newly redesigned bathroom. It was truly breathtaking from the property's vineyards and olive groves! I settled in, went to dinner, had a lovely truffle pasta dish that was served in addition to several varieties of breadcrackers and olive oil, all of which were created in-house, and, of course, a couple of glasses of excellent wine! I slept in the super comfortable bed, which is important to me, and enjoyed a wonderful brunch of local cheeses, their bread, several types of homemade jams, and several flavors of homemade jam, among others, which I've never seen before and have tasted their deliciousness, which was a truly amazing experience! I then finished off my tour in the greatest way I could have ever come to, the grape harvest, with a delicious four or five-course meal accompanied by several of their wines. What a treat! We spent two days in October. We liked the place and the view from our room was great. The place is old but the staff is doing their best to keep it in good shape and they renovated the bathrooms which is great. The place is 25 minutes from florence and we perfect blend it. What we didn't like was that we didn't get any recommendations from the owners on what we can do nearby, even though we asked many times. We are on a wine tour and despite the owners being wine makers, they didn't make any recommendations even if we asked. Therefore, we missed a festival that took him away and didn't do anything in Chiang. In general, we didn't feel welcome. To conclude, if you have made your itinerary and are looking for a genuine place to stay, this is a good choice. If you want to get help from someone to guide you through Chiang, try a more welcoming owner.
