Some difficulties at check in. Called the phone as standing outside in front of the building door several times: no answers. Somehow push some bell button and the door was open to get in. When getting in, pretty dirty probably because they are doing renovations. The room is small: the closet is full of their stuff, like storage space. Some loud talks among folks who work on renovations etc. could be better managed.

We booked this property based on the photos, particularly the bedroom images, but unfortunately the room we stayed in was not the same as the one shown in the listing. It was also not made clear at the time of booking that the bathroom is shared. During our four-night stay, using the bathroom was quite difficult to navigate. It appeared that a family may be living in the property, and with only one shared bathroom, this was not an ideal arrangement. The bedroom itself is located opposite the kitchen, which guests have to pay extra to use. After seeing the standard of cleanliness in the bathroom, we were not comfortable using the kitchen. The main issue was the bathroom cleanliness. Given the number of people using it, I would expect it to be cleaned thoroughly every day, but this did not appear to be the case. On some days, the bathroom was quite unpleasant. The bath was black in places, there was hair around the room, the mirrors needed cleaning, and the bath mat was not changed once during our stay. Flip-flops were provided in the bedroom to use in the bathroom, which perhaps says a lot. The check-in process itself was fine. I proactively contacted the WhatsApp number after reading another review mentioning that the intercom was not working. The owner asks guests to call 30 minutes before arrival. On the positive side, the bedroom was very spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and we were given fresh towels. The location is also convenient due to its proximity to

Bathroom was disgusting, very busy/cluttered reception area, the offer of communal shower shoes which were left on the floor of our room was nasty. Did offer soap, towels, and bed was decent. Overall, would never stay again, needs a deep clean.

I arrived in Rome and went to the listed property above that I booked through Expedia. After standing on the street for 30 minutes trying to gain entry access into the building to check in, we were greeted by someone who seemed surprised and confused to see us and was not expecting our arrival. After check in, we expected to be taken to a separate and private guest house (as stated in the listing title), we were lead into a spare bedroom of their personal residence which was not at all similar to the photos listed. It was clearly a bait and switch. There was a bunkbed and full size bed along with other odd, mismatched furniture all of which smelled of cigarette smoke. We were told there was a shared bathroom with other occupants in the house (again, never mentioned in the listing). We did not stay more than 30 minutes while trying to find other last minute accommodations elsewhere. I've reported the listing as fraudulent and they still have not removed it.
