This was one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in - absolutely beautifully designed accommodation that seamlessly combined the traditional with the very modern. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, and hundreds of books! I loved browsing the bookshelves! The location was excellent, too - really very close to the centre (it was about 10 minutes' walk to the Mole). It felt entirely safe. I really cannot rate this apartment highly enough - it is absolutely stunning and I would return to it immediately. My only quibble is the check-in process. This is not done by the host directly but by a third party company and seems really very complex: first uploading passports for pre-check-in; then (days later) paying city tax; then having to sign a very lengthy 'rental agreement'. None of this, however, results in direct check in information - that required suggesting a specific time. My initital queries about an early check in did not seem to arrive via the system and I ended up having to call the company in italy. Once we arrived in Torino we suddenly had text messages about the process and were given an early check in which was great - but it was a bit stressful arriving and not yet knowing about this. However, once thet whaptsapp contact had been established it all was seemless and they were incredibly helpful - so, really, not too much of a quibble.
