What an absolutely beautiful stay, in a stunning place. Our host was attentive and kind, and the food was wonderful. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, and particularly for my needs on a road trip with my 18 year old son, the accommodation offering two adjoining bedrooms was perfect, and we could park outside. Also very good value in my opinion. I would definitely return, it’s also ideal for couples and I would love to bring my wife here.

Ottima posizione in centro ad un gradevole paesino, dove regna il silezio. Ottimo ristorante con prodotti tipici, la maggior parte fatti in casa. La padrona di casa è una eccellente cuoca, una persona molto piacevole con cui si dialoga gradevolmente. Da tenere in considerazione per viaggi futuri in Toscana.

Diese kleine Ort in nergendwo ist einmalig und sehr schön, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen, sehr ruhig, mann fühlt sich hier wie in Zeit zurück ersetzt....

Civitella in Val di Chiana ist ein wunderschöner kleiner Ort in erhöhter Position. In dem Ort und besonders um die Burg herum sind zahlreiche moderne Skulpturen aufgestellt. Ein kleines Museum berichtet über die Hinrichtung aller erwachsenen Männer des Ortes am 29.7.44. Die junge Wirtin hat für mich als einzigen Gast hervorragend gekocht. Die Zimmer sind einfach und ohne besonderen Konfort aber ordentlich und sauber.

A quick stay but fantastic - the village is peaceful & beautiful. The hotel is lovely with incredible views of the surrounding region from the rooms. Maria is a wonderful hostess who makes the most amazing Italian cakes for breakfast - Crostini, Ricotta with chocoalte & Apple tartin - delicious!

Liebevoll und stilsicher eingerichtetes Borgho in wunderschöner Lage. Schnell von der Autobahn zu erreichen. Keine abgepackten Seifen und Shampoos- endlich jemand, der auch an die Umwelt denkt. Das Frühstück war spitzenklasse! Drei verschiedene Kuchen, Obst, Käse, Saft, Kaffee, Tee, Wurst, Marmelade, Müsli....Und vergessene Dinge sind auch kein Problem: am Empfang liegt eine kleine Auswahl davon bereit. Ebenso findet sich hier auch Wasser, die Möglichkeit Kaffee und Tee zu kochen. Wärmstens weiterzuempfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

What an amazing surprise! The town had so much history that I even called my daughter and sent her pics to see if we could shoot a video/movie there. The owners were an amazing couple who did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The dining experience was very high end with a menu that would make any foodie truly happy. They make everything on the premises, from bread to pasta to deserts. I truly recommend it. Only issue was that we reserved late on the app and the hotel did not get notice of our reservation till a while after, thus gave the nice room to a baiker passing by on his own so our room did not have the incredible view nor was as large as other rooms. Make sure you book early!!!!

Vey nice place to stay. 30 minutes walk to the center of Siena. Coop supermarket at 100 meters. Excellent breakfast and swimming pool. Unfortunately noisy rooms if other guest don't care and wear wrong shoes and speak (too) loud. Very near to the train station.

Lovely Stay, excellent view, a bit out of the way but well worth the travel. ate at attached restaurant, part of the slow food movement, lovely host and food.

Locanda antica....potrebbe avere il suo fascino e sicuramente luogo caratteristico, ma per me che viaggio per lavoro, non va bene. La prossima volta farò più attenzione. Il parcheggio non è esclusivo ma pubblico e disagievole, questo va detto perché non è chiaro nel sito.
