It was a lovely visit to Griffin's Resort on the Tenuta Ponziani estate. The entire area is lining with lavender and olive trees and smells amazing. If you want to disconnect and relax this is the place for you, your friends and your significant other. The spa experience is amazing, and you leave with relaxed muscles and glowing skin. Truly a place to renew. Enjoy!

I can not give this property the justice it deserves from the front desk and their countless accommodations for transportation and the beautiful quiet facility they provide. The wine is delicious and the dinner at their restaurant is no disappointment. We hope to come for a longer stay next time to be able to enjoy the many things The Griffin Resort has to offer.

I almost didn’t want to leave a review; so that we could keep this place our secret. We stopped here to breakup the drive and chaos of Rome & Sienna. Everything was amazing. The food was the best we had in 12 days. The staff was wonderful. The property and single family house/room was updated perfectly. The property in general was really cool as it had been tastefully restored. This is the type of hotel and attention to detail that makes think in 5-10 years it’ll expand and we can wait to come back and visit.

The most fantastic stay ever! If you like peace and quietness in the countryside, Griffin's Resort is your place. The food is great and authentic and also enjoyed by the Italian. The staff is very friendly. We stayed in Thalna with our three children. It was just perfect for a weeks stay and it had two bathrooms - great when you are 5 people. The swimmingpool was lovely with a great view to the countryside. The pool is not for small children though as there is no specific childrens area and a veri nice seating areas around the pool. Griffin's Resort is situated not too far from Ovieto making it easy to shop for groceries and easy to get around in Umbria and Lazio for sightseeing.

Lo staff si è rivelato prezioso ancor prima della prenotazione per aver cercato una soluzione, insieme a me, ad un problema avvenuto durante la prenotazione. Cercavamo un luogo tranquillo e rilassante per trascorrere ferragosto, un periodo in cui di soilto non ci muoviamo proprio per evitare la confusione, questo resort è stato la soluzione perfetta. Si trova a 15 minuti da Orvieto, completamente immerso nel verde, circondato da un parco tenuto benissimo da un giardiniere delizioso. Le camere non sono arredate in modo freddo e impersonale e i bagni sono bellissimi. Il personale alla reception bilancia perfettamente professionalità e cordialità. La piscina è molto bella, le postazioni sono comodissime, e il panorama è fantastico, è stata una fatica staccarci dal bordo vasca per andare a visitare Orvieto e Viterbo. Sconsigliato solo se siete internet dipendenti perchè il wifi è gratuito ma va pochissimo e internet dell'operatore telefonico non prende, a tal proposito scaricatevi la mappa prima di partire perchè il navigatore vi tradirà.

A hidden gem! The resort is situated in a countryside, far from any obstacles. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The food is mostly local or even self-grown. The swimming pool is very nice. The place is beautiful and brings the shoulders down.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at griffins, despite the tiny grumbles. It would have been wonderful to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Our encounter at griffins resort was wonderful. With a special mention and appreciation to the restaurant personnel, Laura, and patricia, all of the staff members were pleasant and made us feel very welcome. Laura was always astonished and polite, greeted us regularly with a grin. She made us the finest coffee, and she was extremely thoughtful in making our breakfast! A cold buffet style breakfast featured a wide range of baked goods and pastries, and all of them were truly delicious! You could also request a hot breakfast. We all enjoyed the restaurant's freshly made pasta and bruschetta, even our fussy 16-month-old eater couldn't say no! The meal was always excellent and readily available. They tried to adjust the menu to suit our dietary requirements because we are vegetarians. The ingredients were always fresh, and patricia's cooking always tasted like it was prepared with much care and skill. I should also mention that the viewpoint from the restaurant is beautiful, and eating outdoors is even better! Fantastic cuisine, beautiful scenery, and excellent service what more could you possibly ask for? What a wonderful location! The location itself is beautiful, opulent, tastefully designed, with a stunning view of the Maria landscape, a nice pool, and peace. The staff is also the friendliest and happy ones. The chef is a talented woman who creates the finest cuisine with garden ingredients. Their wine. It's so delicious! Next door is a riding facility. An hour's ride between olive trees and grape wine. Fantastic! Ill be back!.

In September, after visiting three couples along the Mali coast, we traveled to the Griffin Resort. During our three-week stay in Italy, this was by far the finest time. This location is unquestionably a hidden treasure. It has a really cozy room and wonderful bathrooms, and the structure itself has undergone extensive renovation. The pool is a definite hit, and the exterior is stunning! The dinner menu is fantastic, especially if you like to eat. We had great time at the dinner here, and I would rank the food here the finest I have ever had in Italy. The cook is a wonderful woman who has been trained by a Michelin star chef. A real culinary experience. We all adored this location. One for sure!.

20 minutes from Orvieto and not easy to find on garmin gps. Nice place with beautiful grounds. Flowers everywhere. friendly staff. Very good breakfast.
