This place was lovely. The villa was lovely set in beautiful gardens, it was about 4 miles from ladies the main town with lots of restaurants, we had a car but you could take the bus to ladies from prestrengo, there was a small supermarket a walk from Avana Villa and we tried 2 restaurants in Pastrengo one of which was called Trattoria ala Madonna is a must it was lovely and eva was also good and very reasonable.

Excellent rustic duplex apartment with a warm welcome from the family. The front of the apartment has a small pool which is ideal for the children and for cooling off in the hot summer. Lago Garda is nearby and far enough away from the tourist city center for the ladies and scuba diving.

We will never forget this wonderful gesture, and we will never forget it again. So when a group of Scottish Indians were looking for a place in garda, they somehow found this location, since the first one didn't provide an easy way to make a reservation. So they chose the duplex, which is made of an old wine cellar. The place had all modern amenities, clean and spacious. A nice pool and a communal area made things even better. A special mention must go to the old fashioned bell that a guest can use to talk to the owner, well, language was a bit of a problem, but what's the beauty of a trip across the continent? And then, the most beautiful part of our stay, when the landlady learned that we did not have a car to get to the Desenzano train station, she offered to give us a ride.
