The staff is friendly and will recommend it to visitors. A small town with a cozy atmosphere when entering the room full of tatami vibes. We had fusion dinner and breakfast in rudimentary taste of local ingredients not fancy, but still good.

The onsen bath at the veranda of my room, a free tumbler refillable with their original coffee, private reading nooks within bookshelves, free snacks on each floor, super comfy beds, amazing staff, and an edostyle communal bath outside the hotel. Everything was perfect, no exaggeration! Matsumoto juice is not just merely tavern, it also has cafes, bakeries, boutiques and more. This is because they created this place to help revitalize the local area or town of asama onsenten. Just this background story is already so moving and impressive. I stayed at matsuyama hobako, where they had an old communal bathroom that turned into an Instagramworthy library. According to what i heard, there are more than 10,000 books! The design of the restaurant is too amazing! It looks like brusque structure but with chinese and japanese elements here and there. Breakfast is also filling and ive liked that you get lots of fresh bread straight from their own bakery. Im not saying much, but if its great design, im sure it is! Their dining establishment 367 serves the freshest ingredients, especially the veggies! Dinner is fillin but doesnt make you feel bloated or overstuffed.
