Vi var otroligt nöjda med vår vistelse på denna ryokan! Vi tog en lokal buss från Kyoto, biljetten ingick i våra JR-pass. Vi möttes av fyra-fem personer i receptionen som hjälpte oss med incheckning. De ledde oss till vårt rum och visade var matsalen och onsen låg. Allt var klart och tydligt och de som hjälpte oss var otroligt hjälpsamma och serviceinriktade. Onsen-avdelningarna var väldigt mysiga och rofyllda. VI rekommenderar även att boka en privat onsen, det var superfin utsikt och en unik upplevelse som kostade ca 750 yen extra. Matupplevelsen på denna ryokan var fantastisk. Vi möttes av en middag som bestod av 11 rätter. Vi hade aldrig ätit något av det som fanns på menyn, men vi åt allt! Gott och spännande. Frukosten var även den jättegod och unik. Jag blev rörd till tårar när vi lämnade denna plats. Vi står ödmjuka till den fantastiska upplevelse vi fått på denna ryokan och som vi aldrig kommer att glömma. Stort tack!

음식도 맛있었고 편안했고 청결했습니다. 특히 노천탕에서 보냈던 추억은 영원히 간직할 수 있을것 같아요. 숙소가 숲에 있어서 노천탕 아래를 바라보면 얕은 계곡물이 졸졸 흐르는게 보이거든요. 이른 아침에 홀로 노천탕에 몸 담그고 쉬다보면 제대로 힐링하는 기분이 납니다. 다음에도 꼭 다시오고 싶어요!

非常友善，抵达时还有幸被免费升级到了别院（距离本馆5分钟车程），住山中别墅，独享私家温泉。别院在小溪边上，有单独的吊桥通往别院，风景优美，环境宜人。周边有三大名寺，步行可达。从附近的火车站打车也不贵，15分钟左右，山庄还有通往京都市内火车站的免费班车。服务贴心、周到、友善，部分员工可以用较为流利的日语交流。非常难得的入住体验。

The shuttle bus arrives in Rome at around 330 pm for check-in and leaves at 1020 am for check-out. If you can hear noisy neighbors, I believe most people are considerate. These are minor flaws that will not drab the wonderful one-night experience we had. I came to a Roman because it was my first time lodging there without any expectations. It's strongly advised for the summer months. We had kiseki dinner by the river and a maiko dance, the maiko comes round for photos and also spoke a little bit of English, so expect small interactions. I particularly enjoyed the portion that they turned off all lights for about a minute to see fireflies! Several light particles, but continuous blinking lights everywhere. It was fantastic to observe them without light pollution. Our room was Japanese-style, it smelled of tatami mats. Our room did not have a private bathroomtub, but I'm glad we chose the minimum private entrance, which was really spacious and had a stunning view of the mountaintop and a retractable roof so you can see the sky. From 1.00 p.m. to 1.00, there are 2700 yen slots available. The only drawback I can think of is the late check in and early check out.

I stayed at this property for one night and was not disappointed. We were upgraded to a large room where we could comfortably sleep four people. To help other travelers who may consider this property 1 both the kiseki dinner and morning breakfast were served in the downstairs dining room. There are 2 public baths, one for men and one for women. You don't have to pay for their use. There are 2 private baths located after a flight of stairs and their roofs can be drawn back. These 2 private baths are charged per hour. 4 the roman offers a method to transport from a nearby train station to the property. But be aware that the morning shuttle from the property starts at 9 am. I must commend the front desk man Yakimoto for his patience and resourcefulness in advising me to change my Shinkansen timing to Tokyo. He even wrote instructions for changes in Japanese to show the or station staff. The only minor comments are that my room has two windows, one of them overlooked a construction area and my room smelled strongly of food despite the staff telling me all meals are served in the dining room. I suggest the Roman move the room.

My mom and I stayed at momijiya for two days. We loved kyoto, but taka was a nice break from the city. Taka is a peaceful mountain small town in the mountains. The hospitality was exceptional. When we arrived, they changed our room from grd floor to floor in order to accommodate my mother. The entire process went without a hitch. We had two suppers and two breakfasts. The first night was kiseki, and the second was hot pot. The second night has three options. We enjoyed both the presentation and the meal itself. However, if you are a fan of hamburgers, you might want to think again. There are several temples within walking distance, as is the hike to Arashiyama. All of the rooms and hot baths are facing the mountains. Autumn would be a fantastic time to enjoy the color change. Every day the beds were prepared for you, and the next day the beds were cleaned. To our surprise, they included a traditional bed warmer on the first night. Japanese hospitality is a unique culture that you will not find in another nation, especially in roman.

The nearest station is via bridge and a bit further down into the mountains, where we stayed. Overall, the atmosphere was friendly and helpful. This place has a unique nature reserve. This place is very pleasant to visit.

I spent 2 nights in this excellent hotel. The name and pictures make me confused. I think this hotel should be at least 4 star. But at first it was just a hot water bath, not a boxspring bath. But the bigger problem is that the momijiya annex is better, it has only 6 rooms near the river. But the name and pictures of both confuse. I ended up choosing the wrong one.
