This onset motel is located in the middle of nowhere. Its about a minute drive from Ikenoseki train stop or Hiraizumis fresco world heritage temples. We rented a car, but I believe there is a hotel shuttle from the station and maybe even a public bus. I saw a bus stop in the hotel parking lot. The hotel is located at the end of Wonder, formerly honedera, a valley of rice fields that once belonged to chusonji temple in Hiraizumi. The rooms are tatami and sleep on futons that the staff has put out each night. They are wellhead with private bath. The snow-covered landscape and a flow of water in midjanuary were spectacular. Kata are available and you can wear them everywhere in the hotel, both to sleep. The set meal was served in private dining rooms on the first floor. Ours featured a selection of beef maezawa we grilled for ourselves. Breakfast is served buffet style in a large room on the second floor. The public bath was large and spacious, and it also had a nice but small outdoor bath in Rothenburg. Initially hot spring water is supposed to be good for your skin. The hotel was quiet while we were there, but some other reviews say that it can be noisy if a large group comes and

A luxurious 45 room Roman, at the foot of a mountain and about a minute's drive from the world heritage site, Hiraizumi. A free shuttle bus service is available that connects the Roman stations with or stations of ichinoseki and hiraizumi, and requires advanced reservations. The room in which I stayed was so basic with a sink and bathroom without shower, and the room was around 16. 5 square meters, with a poor view from the window. I was so happy to have opened spa facilities here. Hot spring water enters without circulation from the source. After bathing in an open room here, my skin was smooth. However, I was disappointed that a fence from the mens open spa spoilt the view of the valley. The hotel cost me 10, 00 yen plus taxes per night, including fixed Japanese dinner except for beverages and a buffet breakfast. Brochures are written in English about how to bathe in an onset and utilize the roman facilities. To channels are restricted to Japanese channels. Neither can nor can see English programs like bbd. When you return to your room after dinner, it might surprise you that the futon is already set up. Zuisenkaku would be great for those who enjoy having the experience of staying at a traditional Japanese onset Roman.

The room was spacious and clean, and there was no visible wear and tear. The food was average and of the best quality. The outdoor bath was spectacular in the snow. The service was great. Nothing exceptional or spectacular, but the kiseki was ordinary. There are no special ingredients.
