We hesitated to book on hotels.com for a Kenya safari but it was a flawless experience. Game drives/guides at Mahali were so kind and every staff welcoming to our every request however minor. We are picky about wines and food and this camp far exceeded our expectations. The Virgin/Richard Branson association gives Mahali an edge on well trained staff vs other camps we visited in Kenya and S. Africa. We always want aircon for sleeping and we’re worried about open tents but honestly the air temps were perfect in September when we visited. Slept like kings here. We saw lions elephants leopards giraffe just no rhino in The conservancy. Other than that this was a perfect stay and compared to other quotes of rates from other camps Mahali Mzuri was expensive yes for our budget but in comparison was a great value booking directly online and the staff emailed with us directly readily before and after booking for any questions.

The hotel was above my expectation. They cater from everything from having drinks on tap from the moment they picked us from the air strip all the way to the inclusive laundry service and sun tan lotion. You could literally go here with so little as they have everything ready for you. The game drives were excellent and we were walking the Mara whenever we got the chance, encouraged by the guide to do so when he knew it was safe. The location of the lodge is excellent and we saw a lion hunt from the deck on the last day! What more can you ask for. Truly magical....

The experience we had at Mahal Muri I wish it could have been simple to express in words but it has been challenging. Our time at the camp was nothing short of perfect. In fact, it was magic. From the moment we took off on the dusty landing strip in the masti mara, we had nothing but wonderful service. It may require meticulous planning and practice, but it was successfully implemented with aplomb. Newton, our guide throughout our stay, welcomed us with perfectly crafted refreshments and a cheerful smile. A masti from the same area as Mahal Muri, his knowledge of the animals, the land, and the people was unmatched. Over the course of five days, we explored the whole preserve. Each game drive was a unique experience with cheetah kill, a leopard and his cub, a lion tribe mourning a cub, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and so much more. He not only shared his wealth of knowledge about the masti mara, but he shared stories about himself and his family. They should be very proud. It was a simple experience to visit the masti village and see how grateful they were that we had taken the time to come and learn about their way of life. The sex of the guests from Mahal Muri made us feel comfortable and at ease over five days. The kitchen staff'

The entire experience of visiting Mahal Muri is amazing. From the moment you arrive at the airstrip and are welcomed with cold drinks until you arrive at the venue, everything was well planned and planned. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. The food and beverages were of the highest caliber, and the entire staff provided excellent service. Game drives and vehicle amenities added to the fun.

We wish it was simple to sum up the whole experience we had at Mahal Muri, but it's been quite the struggle. Our time at the camp was nothing short of perfect. In fact, it was magical. From the moment we stepped off our plane at the dusty landing strip in the masti mara to the final farewell, we received nothing but exceptional service. Whilst this level of attention requires meticulous planning and practicing, it was executed with utmost ease. Newton, our guide for the duration of our visit, welcomed us with a perfectly arranged drink and a welcoming smile. He was a masti from the same area as Mahal Muri, his knowledge of the people, animals, and the land was endless. Over the course of 5 days, we explored the entire wilderness. Every game drive was a unique experience, including a cheetah kill, a leopard and her cub, a lion tribe mourning a cub, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, and more. Joshua, the chef, was a passionate foodie and a true food enthusiast, not only to share his vast knowledge about the masti mara, but also his stories about himself and his family. Our meals were delivered the night before and prepared in a lovely box. The masti bath ducks were delightful, the fruit skewer

Wonderful hospitality at the camp. Great team that go out of the way to ensure every comfort and beyond. Amazing spa area and treatments. Tents could be improved in line with others in terms of beds and cooling as it got very hot. Twin beds were smallish but comfortable. Great linen n towels. Betty our guide was super as was Cosmos who served us and took care of every need. Camp’s laundry service is excellent. Small touches like the send off song and dance and considerate touch like arranging a birthday cake was so wonderful. Really thankful. The pool facilities were great and the overall camp area is really well located. I wish their lobby or lounge area was more welcoming in terms of seating. But it’s good even now. I loved my stay overall. Any small glitches were quickly addressed and fixed. Would stay here again!
