This place was wonderful and we will surely return. We just returned from a fournight stay at Ko Koco Cove. This ecology is found on this lovely island fungi. Sophia and her husband Jessie, with the help of Adam and Jack, run it. We loved this location because of its personal touch. Our favorite times are when they would pass by our table for dinner to chat and laugh. Breakfast comes with three options and extra options. The cuisine is freshly prepared and delicious. The rooms are large and spacious. The sandbag was without a doubt the highlight of the trip. They also organize activities like kayaking, fishing, and river raising. They also organize excursions to wasin island where you can watch dolphins and snorkel.

I have an amazing experience while staying at Kokoko Cove. I will never find a remote location on the Kenyan coast. I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that the time to reflect and the solitude that I so desire were just under 40 in the morning from Dyana. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially during the tours and hikes. The sandbags have to be the highlight of my trip, and I would strongly suggest that anyone staying at Koko Cove spend at least some of their days there.

Although the food is delicious, the atmosphere here is so natural to look at, starting from the boat ride to the room. And then the large size, plus the natural air flow, were so amazing.

Koko Cove is one of those strange and wonderful locations on earth you dont even realize are real! On your way to the hidden retreat, youll be in awe and captivated right away as you enter the mangrove forest. They offer stunning accommodations and an incredible restaurant area with exceptional quality food and consistently wonderful music! The managers and staff will make sure you are kept well at all times and will take you on a magical day trip to the sandbags where youll sip drinks, chill, sunbathe and listen to reggae, looking out at the sandbags around you disappearing before they are completely submerged while you take off with the boat to the resort. Koko cove, fungi island, is a must-see when visiting Kenya and I would heartily suggest it to anyone who enjoys nature, delicious cuisine, and is looking for an unforgettable encounter.

Overall, I would strongly suggest it if you want to experience still some unspoiled nature. The staff was very helpful and friendly! The very excellent restaurant and location are excellent. Breakfast is served as a standard, and trips to sandbags are provided daily, which was a wonderful experience. Beautiful beach was very nice and safe to walk on for 5 minutes. The food was really fresh and delicious, and the portions were delicious. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable.
