Good location, not too far from the train station and to town center. Breakfast was just ok, rather dissapointing though. But it was included in the price so can't really complaint.

Good location. By uber from station to hotel is just around 5-10 pounds depending on the traffic. View from the hotel is also quite good.

This place has a great selection. We came here for lunch with a few pals and had a great meal. The menu is very good. They have a great selection of hand, pulled real ales and a good wine list. The chips are also excellent. My particular thanks to Georgina for making us feel so welcome. The only downside is that the gentleman's toilet is very small and there isn't much room to move, but the price is fair to pay to visit such a lovely structure.

A great and friendly location to stay. From the room to the decoration. The amazing and helpful staff made my partner feel like a princess. When visiting York, I will undoubtedly choose that place and will try the sister hotel early next year. A stone's throw from the beautiful city and its sights, but not near any late night noise from bars or traffic. It's the ideal hotel for a couple to visit and very affordable.

I have stayed 3 nights a bed and breakfast in the best room 11 which is the reason I booked this inn. The location is perfect but the place is close.

I didn't get a towel ring in my room. Will look for another hotel on my next trip to York. I did not have food, but the beer selection was excellent. Maybe a bit cheaper, but that's my Scottish blood talking.

Our room was nice and the cleanliness of the entire hotel was excellent. Huge and comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were served on two mornings and on one evening, and the food was always excellent. One of the hotels biggest assets is the staff. Every staff member we spoke to was friendly, professional, and courteous, a huge benefit to the hotel. Without a doubt, this hotel is a great find for us and we will definitely visit again and have no hesitation recommending it to family and friends.

It's a great stay, the staff is great everything was very hard, check-in took a few minutes. I've been there before and would not go anywhere else. Very recommend parking, safe and attached to the hotel.

Luckily, we chose to spend the day exploring York at the last minute, and luckily we found a room at the Jarvis Hotel. The location is excellent, just close to the museum gardens and only a 10 minute walk from the railway station. A well-appointed room and helpful staff. Will be back.

We spent the entire time with warm and helpful receptionists. We were given a nice, cozy room with a standard walkin shower. Although the bathroom is a little bigger, it's still good enough. It turned out that the bed was a king size bed because two individual beds were moved together and pushed together. But it was still very cozy. There is plenty of parking accessible in front of the hotel. free is also a plus. Just enter the reg number into a tablet at the front desk and select your stay duration. Once that is done, drive as many times as you like throughout your visit.

Great hotel that close to station. Stayed in triple room for 1 night and it was very spacious. From hotel you can walk to the city center in 15 mins.
