The apartment was very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and quickly accommodated our request for drinking glasses as only mugs and plastic cups were initially provided. The location is a short drive to gurney drive but also easy to get grabs to central Georgetown and the beach. There is a supermarket and market right around the corner for basic provisions and a lovely bakery next door for coffee and breakfast items. The only downside is the lack of a pool.

I will definitely return and recommend staying at codrington house when i return to penang. Staying at codrington house in penang, 35 lengkok moulmein with my slibing recently was a great Airbnb place to stay. My review of it is very clean, tidy, neat, and fully airconditioned. Come with clean extra bath towels and pillows. The atmosphere in the apartment is cozy and comes with a large tv. Also included are cold, warm, and hot water dispenser, basic utensils, pot and frying pan, plates, cups, and bowls. The rooms are also very convenient. The rooms and toilets are also clean and tidy. It also has a rain shower, ironing board, iron, and washer with dryer function machine with washing powder provider. The apartment is also great and convenient as it is only a walk away 5 minutes to coffee beans, blackball a taiwan dessert, dim sum restaurant, coffee shops, and a market. The market area is called pulau tikus, a wet market in the morning with stalls selling breakfast food and other offers. Musttry the instant fried potato curry puff. When evening comes, it will be converted into a makan place with stalls like zhi Cha, duck eggs fried kway teow, Satay, fried oyster, penang laksa, and many more. Overall, it was a great, wonderful, and enjoyable stay with my first time visiting penang. Not forgetting the great host staff and room staff for their help during our stay.

I recently stayed at the codrington house in penang with my family. This was the perfect 3 room with an ensuite bathroom! It was spacious, clean, and had a simple design, which worked well for us! The location was great, just downstairs are typical penang coffee shops and classy shops as well. I was really impressed with this accommodation. A true hidden gem. But book early. We will definitely be back! Happy christmas!.

When we left Penang, we have accidentally left a bag in the apartment. The owner has let us known and go above and beyond to help sending the bag back to us, greatly appreciated! Akomodasi terindah yang pernah saya tinggali di Malaysia. Hanya ada kertas tisu di dapur dan pengering rambut sudah diperbaiki, yang agak merepotkan, tapi sangat bersih, banyak peralatan makan dan banyak tempat parkir, jadi sangat bagus. Senang rasanya memiliki restoran di dekatnya.

Self service check in but instructions were explicitly clear (no way you could get it wrong). The best apartment to stay, clean, spacious, good for 8 pax. Very close to a local market, eatery but away from the noise. Other than the previous trash which was not cleared when we check in, other than that its perfect for us. 10/10
