Wake up to a magnificent view of Mt Kinabalu just infront of our unit. They could improve on the water system. The unit we stayed has no hot water and the pressure was very low. I was freezing cold after a cold shower. Other than that we loved the place and enjoyed our stay.

The family unit was very clean and cool. It would have been better if there is insect screen to allow for better ventilation because there was no fan nor Aircond in the unit. No tv too. WiFi was good until more guests moved in, it was do slow. Food was bad.

The double standard room on the lower floor has a mountain view. You must carry your luggage and walk a long distance down a narrow path to reach the room. Back to nature. There is no fan or bunker in the room. But very cold weather. The stairs' sound from the top floor is very loud. Nighttime has insects, flies, spiders, and insects as visitors. No electricity for 2 hours during stay.

Overall, I will return and stay there again. I stayed there with my partner on February 19, 2019. The environment was peaceful and peaceful, just like what I like. The room was spacious. No fan in the room, but the temperature is cold so it doesn't feel hot inside. Breakfast from 7 am to 9 am. Check out at 10 am.

I was in a very bad mood because when I brought out my packet of crisps, they seemed to be blowing up our idea place for spending time acclimating, even though this didn't stop my nausea. And, they still made rice and noodles, despite the kitchen being closed. Also, the breakfast was very bad and they had no eggs, so that makes me dizzy. But the room has a kettle, and you have to buy tea and coffee and eat it. The location is not far from the start of the mountain, making it handy. I can see some good slumber and can see a tiny balcony with a nice view, so we managed to get a decent nights rest. But the receptionist was really kind, however, they have no record of our reservation on the computer.

When we booked this place through Papplication, it's about 6 miles away. The location is a bit up the hall. This place is very suitable for a visitor's vehicle because this place is in a small town and has lots of wildlife. The hotel has 4 rooms and has a very huge double floor with a complete kitchen with a fantastic view of the Mount Kinabalu. The receptionist who handled all the check-ins said that this place is better than other lodges because it is located further up the street.

After staying the night before at Kinabalu National Park, I stayed last minute. The distance to the national park is just less than a fiveminute drive, and yes, the sunrises were quite stunning on a clear morning. I booked a double deluxe mountain view room, and the room and sheets were both spotless. The apartment was a tiny, filthy, innaway room with no heating other than clean sheets. Apart from the fairly cramped en suite, our room was in an outhouse near the front of the complex, so it was very cold. In terms of amenities, there was a kettle and flask, but no tea, coffee, or mugs, which seemed to be aimed at an oriental clientele. Despite the fact that kinabalu mountain is 50 kilometers away, the wifi was subject to the conditions and the personnel was in no way trying to resolve the issue. If you do, avoid avoiding these things. Otherwise, something nasty might escape your bag, so avoid laying your bags on the floor.
