Phenomenal encounter My husband and I stayed in the jungle love nest and couldn't have imagined a better view. Breakfast was very good though I would advise not leaving room service dishes in the cabinet overnight as we ended up with a raccoon in ours, seemed harmless and hungry. The most up close and personal encounter with nature was, honestly, the biggest perk. I loved hearing the buzzing of insects at night and seeing bats and iguanas in the tree we were staying in. The original set of sheets in our room was dirty and we didn't realize until we got to bed around midnight. I would recommend checking your linens before arrival. I guess it was a major mix up because everything was very clean and the rest of the stay was great.

We stayed in room 108, which was named the jungle love nest. It has a tiny private pool complete with a waterfall and a private balcony with a hammock. The shower and bathroom area were absolutely beautiful! The bed was king. They had cool sea shell lights on the walls as well for mood lighting and we had our own jacuzzi with a window! Our room had a little dumb waiter where they put your room service food and then knock and turn it around. You don't even have to interact with a real person if you don't want to! Very good selling point for someone with social anxiety. The grounds were also very well maintained and beautiful landscaped. Many tiny heart-shaped lilly pad stones to walk on. Lots of hammocks and pleasant places to sit and read or sunbathe. Or maybe slumber lol. They realize they have mosquitoes so there was a fee off everywhere, but frankly I didn't seem to need it. The shared areas are fantastic as well very picturesque and clean. Breakfast is offered between 8 and 10 a.m. If you want to eat breakfast at the hotel, you have to place your order by 5 a.m. They can bring it to you later, you just have to place an order when you leave. This place is amazing! The staff is amazing and make you feel like a mix of family and royalty. The amenities are amazing! Everyone exceeded our expectations! We are definitely planning on returning. We were sad to leave!.

We will return. A very luxurious and relaxing place!!Baby, Susie, Pauline and the rest of the team were very attentive and helpful. The owner's home was at the beginning of this small resort, so you feel at home. Each room is unique, the food is great, the view is exceptional, and the facilities are well thought out. It is also quite affordable.

Villa La was a truly magical stay! It was a true dream vacation. So much so that we planned a return trip next month! The location itself is stunning and natural! Everything is kept well. We enjoyed every second of the place. There were several different areas to enjoy, including the garden, the private beach, the hammock on the dock, the infinity pool, and much more. The staff was outstanding! Probably the greatest service weve ever had! They were extremely pleasant and quick with any services needed. They even outsourced special services for our room, such as hair, nails, etc. We never felt concerned at all. I was incredibly amazed at how quickly they were able to meet all of your needs and accommodating any special requests. We really didn't want to leave! The food was delicious and only used real ingredients, the majority of it from their own garden. We seldom left to eat because everything was so fresh and good there. They arranged any rides needed and we never had to wait. Its a perfect location to everything else, only a short boat ride or taxi ride away. Everything you desire is on the land, so we never felt it necessary to leave besides shopping or trying out a few places that they made reservations for when we needed them. We always return!
