The atmosphere here was so peaceful, and the atmosphere was so beautiful! We were also able to read in the medina of Essaouira during our stay at Dar Otto. We got a quiet, relaxing place. I know because of the guy who runs the operation here, he can't speak english at all, but despite that, we were treated so well by him from the moment we arrived after bumping into an ancient puget 205 down a steep road, even though we arrived right away. Our room was reconfigured to have two beds, and we received a delicious meal at very very reasonable prices. Though the pool was a little too cold to use in April, the structure and setting were wonderful, and we listened to the pool in the sun while waiting for the camel trip to pick us up the following morning. Nothing was too much bother for our hosts, and I heartily endorse reading for a brief visit!

The proprietors and staff cleaned our car for us, carried it off to the village to be done, and then hung it back for us as well. Breakfast was the best we'd ever had during our travels. The walk to the river from a parking lot just over the bridge, five minutes from the read, is a must-see on our way into Essaouira. I caught some Elaine falcons flying by both in the morning and the evening.

Overall a nice and friendly read, but stay in your own room and bring your own entertainment! First of all, this book is beautiful, with a lovely pool and bedouin tent outside, perfect for unwinding away from the sun! The staff and owner were also really friendly, and even offered us a lift to Essaouira. As other guests have stated, the breakfast was excellent, rivaling a four-star hotel. It is, however, rather isolated unless you have your own transportation. Went for a walk, and the area surrounding is very run-down with trash everywhere. This read is a literal oasis in the middle of an underdeveloped, almost escapement community. The bathroom we had downstairs to the left of the stairs was reasonably functioning, but the beds were filthy, dusty. There is no alcohol available, so it would have been nice to have a wine with dinner.

The room's comfort factor is a bonus because it's in an exceptionally serene atmosphere. The employees here were so attentive, especially to us, who were not too hot in French, especially when we went for a beach horseshoe ride that was delightful, and they provided an amazing hammer inside the complex. There's a pool and some food, which is excellent. The breakfast was fresh. The location was close to the airport and it was very peaceful. There's a lot of terraces. Every day's breakfast was superb, it's perfect and chilled at any given time.

I spent a week reading with my friend! Excellent service, ensuring that every wish is fulfilled. Although the location is outside of Essouira, the read provides information on taxi and car rental. Lovely surroundings, and the rooms and accommodations are in excellent condition. This is a very pleasant and cozy place to stay if you're looking for a peaceful place to relax.
