My stay here was cheap and the room was clean. It also helped to take a bus into the city center. But the condition of the room and bed sheets was dirty, the bathroom smelled awful. Plus the sound of everything else was made by the walls.

I booked this hotel for my son's birthday weekend, it was suitable for a break, it has 6 beds and 3 bunk beds, shared bathroom, showers, etc., but it was clean and served it's purpose, a bit out of the city center, but the free ferry and walk was worth it.

For a british stag party, I reserved an 8bed room and 4 bunk beds. Nothing in the vicinity of Amsterdams core. Every minute, the free ferry over the river leaves the central station. The journey is less than a minute long. Then a 25 to 30 minute walk through a dark area leads to the hostel. The main door had been locked upon arrival. Youll frequently hear it knuckled. Asian man responds to the door while urging us to rest with the knocking. No apologies. If you think about it, the strong scent of a Pakistanistani curry housefront store first thing I went inside. Terrible. No front desk. He demanded that we pay up the 24 th city tax on the key after he was put in the hallway. The main entrance of the room was the sole key handed over from the eight of us. Checkout was at 9 a.m. The eightbedroom dorm in the room wasnt too bad, however. The room was clean and tidy. For the price, everything is available. Two showers and a musical toilet across the entire floor. Pleasant weather. The rooms are not too awful, but the location is awful. I would have to pay a little more to remain closer to the city center. If you want an ubertaxi to the center, request the ferry terminal

Nous avons loué pour 2 nuits une chambre pour 8. C'était très calme, Les navettes pour aller dans le centre sont très pratique après 15 minutes de marche. Cela correspondait tout à fait au descriptif.

The staff members were very accommodating, including the airline, when we had a flight delayed and sent emails back, which they replied to without charging us. Gratitude for that! Very spotless rooms, fresh linen, and mattresses. The shared bathroom shower rooms were as clean as you could possibly imagine in a given scenario! There isn't much around with a few supermarkets to eat, so it's not far from the ferry terminal. Although there isn't much nearby, it's a tranquil, tranquil area, but the ferry is free until 12 am!.

Friendly staff, has everything you need & great takeaway next door. Beds, Fridge, Fan, Table & Sofa in room. Shared Shower, Toilet, Lounge with TV, Washing machine. Bit of modernising & decorating would be a bonus but Guest House Amsterdam does what it says on the tin. Will stay again.

The shower and the bathroom were all shared and the shower had really bad hard water stains so I didn’t felt comfortable with showering there, the room itself was okay for travelling cheap
