A pleasant experience and I really liked this place. I have a motorhome with a neat look. It was very clean and close to the town. I will stay here again when I visit the area.

Arrived late and unplanned. It wasn't a problem for the campground to accommodate me on a long weekend on short notice. Very easy instructions to follow, friendly and clean facilities. I took a hot shower and slept soundly the first night. Thank you, Beach Park.

It's surprising that a council is involved in such amazing facilities. Les, the park manager, does an excellent job doing basically everything. Prices that are very fair do not reflect the high standard of amenities. Great place to base for Wairarapa.

We booked a cabin with shared facilities for two nights. The cabin was close to the amenities and cozy. The heater kept us warm and the bedding was of exceptional quality. All the amenities were modern and clean. Good value for money. The camping ground was fairly full. Must be one of the best camps in the country.

A very convenient spot to stay on a budget that is within Matterto. I had a standard cabin with 2 bunk beds, a queen bed, a table and chairs, a bar fridge, and a heating pump. The room was clean and tidy, and the communal areas were well kept. The best part were the individual bathrooms for the communal areas. Having a unisex room means you can indulge your medical procedures in private. It has a gate that cuts down on the main street, and the main swimming pool is only a few minutes away. This campground felt safe with lickable gates and barrier arms. I had to walk to the ablution room at 11 p.m. on a Friday night and was quite comfortable doing so alone.
