Large clean and cozy room. King size bed was comfortable which provided much needed sleep. The tub in the room was so relaxing with a fantastic view of nature. Hot water was steady in the bathroom. AC was respite from the outside humidity. The restaurant offered ample sized delicious home grown cooked meals. The staff from the reception, security, environmental services & cleaning crews to the restaurant were actively engaged to ensure you’re attended swiftly. Shout out to Jane!!! This is the place to watch the sunset. North Zen Villas is the sister resort of Oceanic; this resort is quiet and a short ride from the party scene of Alona Beach. Overall, this resort is a solace from a busy hectic life. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay; was here for three nights. Beautiful, quiet, and well-maintained property. Everyone on the staff was professional, courteous, and helpful. The resort is located just a few miles from the busy, loud streets of Alona Beach. Thus, it offers a pleasant escape from the noise and traffic. The mangrove forest, located behind the resort, is a lovely nature reserve and there is a great sunset spot at the end of the boardwalk. One of the best resorts in all of Panglao.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon truly special and were so accommodating in every way. Since many of our tours started early, they arranged takeaway breakfasts for us, which was a huge help. We stayed in the pool villa, which was amazing, peaceful, away from the crowds, and the 'floating delight' breakfast was a highlight! The bathroom and shower were incredible: very spacious with great water pressure. We also enjoyed strolling along the bamboo walk to the bar, which doubled as a great running path. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced as well. While the hotel is about a 12-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center, we actually valued being on the outskirts of the chaos of Alona Beach. Coming back to such peace and quiet was exactly what we needed, especially while dealing with jet lag. This was truly a little slice of paradise; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and would love to stay again!"

We loved everything about this place. The rooms, location, food, facilities were fantastic. The pool was exceptionally good and well maintained. But the best thing for us was the STAFF. All of them were wonderful and I am sad to leave. I'm sorry I cannot remember all the names. But of the names that I remember from the guys at front of house in the orange shirts are Jane, Azia. Lang, Dars, Mike and (superman) Ralph. Of the security guys in blue I'd like to thank Amor, Lacia, and Eorreon. And the bar and restaurant staff, there were so many of you but of the names I can remember I would like to thank Gian, Jeb Jeb, Peter. You treated us to the freshest and tastiest filipino food at breakfast and at dinner time. I'd also like to thank the lovely gardening lady in green with her big hat, quietly working on the grounds to make them pleasant for all of us. The massage ladies I am grateful for you all too and for your healing hands. As I have said, there are just too many names to remember and I apologise if your name is not in this review. But I want you all to know that you were ALL appreciated by my husband and I. This resort, North Zen Villas, is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I definitely recommend it and would stay again. Finally, I just want to say: Jane, Azia and Lang, whenever I eat coconut or candy, I will think of you now. I have no choice but to give the NZV 10 out of 10. Thank you SO much for looking after us.
